He’s around 10 years old, should I talk to him myself or tell this to my dad to let him talk to him?

Tell your dad and let your parents handle it however they feel is best.

Yes, let your parents handle it, it’s their job. You don’t want something like that embarrassing him so much that it affects your sibling relationship.

Tell your parents and if you see him doing it I would say try to get him away from it.

Parents.

And, how old are you? Depending on that, you might give your brother a heads up.

Tell your parents, and I hope and pray they do something. It can actually become an addiction like heroin and bring on similar tragedies to the person himself and the whole family. I’ve seen it happen, and there is no turning back time to undo it.

This. Don’t let it ruin his life. Tell your mum and dad and have them handle it. That’s what they’re there for.

Your parents must handle this problem very soon ! . May I suggest that a “porn blocker” be installed on the computer? There is a free program: Blue Coat K-9 which is effective, just search the name. The program is flexible and capable of being “customized”.

I would say this is something your parents need to handle, as others have said.

Confront the issue head on ,there are no nice polite ways solve this,

Agree with what others say, tell your parents, avoiding making him feel at fault when its quite likely he innocently stumbled across the porn unintentionally.

If ever there was more need to protect children and educate the young from the damaging effects of pornography its in today’s society.

xanu,

And pray much for your parents and brother that this will be resolved according to Our Lord Jesus Christ.

I will add my prayers,

Dorothy

I think ratting on him would also poison the relationship, probably much more severely.

What is his relationship or way of thinking about God?

How would your parents deal with the behavior?

At such a young age, he is still coming from a position of semi innocence. Telling him that this is something God does not want us to do might redirect his behavior. Being yelled at and punished, however, if he comes to connect you with that happening, would drive a wedge between you at a time when he needs confidence in older siblings.

Only you know the young fellow and the facts of the situation, but I’d say ratting on him should be the LAST option thought of.

Well, I’ve blocked the website he used in the router settings. I’ll tell my father as soon as I can talk with him without anyone around. Thanks for the help!
