Liza! He feels bad is the point…he needs do connnfession we don’t NEED to bloody him up…and yes it is big responsibility…but pity sake Liza…how many of use have frozen up…chocked at bat and did something wrong…kid…in my 40+ years I’ve learned something the only true mistakes are the ones ya don’t learn from and tighten the screws and do confession talk to the Baptist…maybe he had confusion…maybe a priest needs to speak to him…in short…you know ya did wrong…i dislike redundancy …the fact you know you struck out. Give me hope…you’ll be ok!!! It’s like a sport…you know…you ride the bat high you see it’s throwing your balance…so…fix it and move on…The Holy Spirit Convicts ya of sin mate! But it’s the devil who wants you to wallow in it…don’t wallow…wipe of the muck in a good confession…pray a rosary Ask for intent to be a good steward!!! You’ll be ok…WRONG.
He is entrusted with holding and distributing THE BODY OF CHRIST. That is an enormous responsibility. He knows full well that what he did was wrong, otherwise he would not be here asking for help. Letting him off the hook is not going to provide the learning experience that needs to happen here, on a number of levels. The friend needs to be informed that he can’t receive, the priest needs to know this has happened, EMHC need to be properly trained, Alex needs to address this from his own personal perspective.
