I see how my post was rather confusing.

You are most likely not of of the people who can not explain.

The OP is defending his catholic faith.

In this thread, I have seen his defense consist of mocking others rather than going to the core catholic truths that can be found in the bible.

This is not to demean the Op but to bolster his defense of the Catholic faith in a more agressive and persuasive manner. Not in a manner that demeans others.

I understand… I too find it that we can be more charitable in our presentations… “emotional responses” tend to confuse both the Believer and the non-Believer–they also attract responses that further the confusion… I’m glad that my computer is old because it affords me the opportunity of lossing a reply or two… in restrospect, I find that I was not as clear as I could be and that my reply may have been overly charged… something that would help no one… I wonder if my guardian angel steps in to assist me in my lack of humility…

…regardless of the reason, I find that a cooler head prevails as my new efforts have better affinity and are self-edifying… it’s a win-win!
