**Hi everyone. 🙂 **
I am not sure if this is the correct place for this, but here goes-:
God wins!
I have fought the Catholic Church tooth and nail, metaphorically. I wanted to join, but then Satan must have had his way, and I turned away (never completely, but still I turned). I was only baptised on February 12th this year in the Lutheran Church, but I have felt God breathing down my neck to turn back to the Catholic Church, which I was seeking before Satan got his mits onto me!

**I know my family are going to be disappointed and won’t understand my decision, but I can’t worry about what they think. I know my journey is only just beginning, and still have much to get my head around; but I am back. **
I am going to have to start attending the Church again and eventually I will attend confirmation classes.
Please pray for those who love me, that they may grow to understand my decision, in time.

May God bless you and your loved ones, abundently.

Thank you blessedstar and LilyM. Your prayers are very much appreciated! 🙂

Welcome home fellow aussie. Your family (and you) are added to my prayer list!

With some of the other posts on these forums, it is certainly a breath of fresh air to hear good news like this.

Welcome home, peace be with you, and my Christ’s peace be with you always on your journey!

woo! hooo!

great news!
I keep you and your family in my prayers. I pray for your family to understand your decision; for you, I would pray for you to be strong, to show love to your family through your Catholic faith, and hope that you will attend Catholic class for preparation of confirmation, etc.

God bless!

Thank you all for the warm, welcoming replies and the prayers; I am truly blessed to have the support of the people on this forum, and the love of God.

May God bless you all. You are all in my prayers.

Thanksgiving is coming! We all have lots of things to thank God for, and I am sure yours is a huge thing.

ps. I could use some color for my text, too. 🙂

Amen! Welcome home!

(I wanted to use some color too! 😉 )

Going against your family’s beliefs takes great courage. God bless you and I pray your family not only accepts your conversion but they all come to see the whole Truth that the Catholic Church embodies.

:blessyou:

Hi water,
Indeed I do have alot to thank God for! (We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving here in Australia, though.)

Hi Sir Catholic,
It is great to be home! Thank you for the welcome.

Hi E.E.N.S,
Thank you, I appreciate the warm welcomes.

Hi wcknight,
It is difficult, but I have faith God will help me through this. My family are High Church Anglican by baptism, and their ‘take’ on Christianity is varied; but when it comes to moral issues, they say “I can’t do such and such, it goes against my religion.” Then when asked what religion, they say “I’m Catholic.”; which is sort of misleading, but they mean it; although, they mean ‘Anglo-Catholic’ Which is why I was baffled when I told them 5 years ago, that I was going to become Catholic, that their negative reaction suprised me so much. Don’t get me wrong, they never hounded me, but I could tell they were disappointed.

**To all, 🙂 **
To me, colour is like a beautiful smile…it brightens my world. I hope your days are filled with colour!
God bless and protect you all.

Welcome Home!

We welcome Anglicans into our Parish every year and I love having them in RCIA class, they contribute so much, and are such strong, active Catholics, you will be just such a treasure, I am sure.

This is good news to read. Your screen name always makes me smile. 🙂 Does this mean you’ll soon be a Catholic nun, o.t.a.? 😉
