I got banned from the Catholic reformation board

All I did was tell them they were full of hate. I think what got me banned was me calling out 2 moderators and told them they were not Christian because they thought it was perfectly fine to destroy a Virgin Mary statue like a the Southeast Christian Youth Group here did about 2 yrs go. I asked them what would they think if someone burned there cars up??

They kept quoting passages in the Bible where that is Idolatry. I’ve never seen a board more full of hate in my life. I probably should not even go look over there but I had too for the entertainment value and ignorance of people.
 
No because I just put it in my favorites, like this board. I’m sure someone has it here. I got it from this message board several months back.

When you go. Be ready to be smacked in the face with hate. These kids are former Catholics, who have left the Church to be Pentecostal, Independant Baptists. etc.etc… etc… Every post is something slamming the Catholic Church.
 
Telling them that they were full of hate was an insult. This is why you were banned. I know it is frustrating when someone, (especially former Catholics), misrepresent the faith. But you must strive to remain charitable. Pray for them. 🙂

Doesn’t surprise me. A lot of hate and resentment towards the Church is coming from former Catholics. We need to pray for these people. :crying:

:hmmm: Maybe we should start a rosary thread for the sole purpose of bringing former Catholics back to the Church.

Then you are new to debate, there are worse sites. The ex-Catholics are the most vile and misleading of what the Church really teaches. And both persons mentioned also post on other sites. I encountered them years ago, and they only got further into deceiving, misinterpeting, and outright lies about the Church.

That will get you banned from any “Christian” forum or board. Why are you surprised?
People have the right to express themselves, hate filled or other wise. So what? What matters is how any one individual acts and or reacts to his environment. If I spew hate at you, what should you do? “Return evil for evil to no one,” Right? So suck it up and drive on troop.
 
No i went ahead and deleted it immediately when I got banned. No since of keeping it on there when I can’t get into it. I would check the top 100 Christian Boards. It’s probably on there. Since we are not considered Christian to these sects. Probably find it there.

As for telling them they aren’t Christian. I don’t care. If they think that destroying a statue of Jesus’s mother is a good idea than they obviously don’t love Jesus if they would do that to his mom

Time to take a big breath here, paut’nah.

People doing misguided things are just that. You have a devotion to the Theotokos, so you find this kind of behavior insulting. It’s good to remember some things here. The statue isn’t her, it’s just a statue. However, you not caring about your behavior towards another – that might be something to reevaluate.

I can understand why you’d be mad at people destroying icons. But what I have a hard time understanding is the seemingly unrepentant attitude you are displaying. You want them to repent, but are unwilling to do so yourself. Christianity doesn’t work that way.

Take a step back, breath and pray about you, not about them.
 
You have to be registered with EZBoards to access the site. Forunately for me, I am registered there due to using another EZBoard site.

From just reading the forum topics, I can tell this is a slanderous site. I mean what does Fatima have to do with the New World Order. The NWO is definitely anti-religion.

If they are full of hate then it is OK to state that. Nothing wrong there. They just have a problem with reality. When you tell them they are full of hate though, you must say it with love and respect for them, not as an insult.

This was wrong. You cannot see into their heart any more then the Baptists that have judged you can see into yours. Do not judge them or you commit the same sin they are so proud of commiting.

Look at what their founders did to all the wonderful houses of God in the de-formation. You could say it is their tradition started by men in the 1500’s to destroy what is Gods artwork. Did you ask them if they burned the statues on Lincoln and Washington? Do they visit Mt. Rushmore? Do they burn the pictures of their families on thier walls? Do they burn thier abridged, edited, incomplete and often mis-written Bibles since they have pictures of Jesus or Blessed Mary or John the Baptist, etc… in them? Double standards are the norm for them. Get used to it. “Build a bridge and get over it” allready!

They do not know what idolatry means. Do they worship a pillow when they knell down to pray at night? Do they worship a book when they hold it up high and bow their head in prayer? Do they worship their family pictures on the wall? Statues are artwork and reminders, nothing more. They have the hangup with idolatry, not Catholics. We know the difference and they are ignorent of it.

You haven’t looked around much then, Protestant boards abound that are full of hate. I’ve been kicked of my share to. (I built a bridge and got over it. It’s not a toll bridge yet so I’ll let you use mine to cross over their hate if you like)

Entertainment is what their “ME”-ology is all about! It’s just a big stage show. Take away the party and their “ME”-ology falls apart. They can’t quote more then a verse at a time because if they quote a parable or read an entire book at on time the context will prove them wrong. They are stuck in a verse “ME”-ology. Catholics are living in a Bible Theology.

When you talk to these, oh, lets call them hate mongers? Speak to them with love and respect. Never insult them. Correct them but do it with love. Everthing you do must be done with love. Love is the ONLY eternal gift we have, start using it now.
 
I have to go here to find out what’s with it with these people!
