I got laid off -- please pray!

I brought in about 65% of our income (family of 5), and my husband has recently been accepted at college to finish his teaching degree at long last after recovering from a brain injury. We have always lived modestly, but even with unemployment & his income, it will be a struggle.

There are literally no jobs in my profession anywhere in this state or neighboring states and tons of lay offs so lots of people looking. I need to do something different, but I have no idea what it will be. I am begging the Lord for guidance. Please pray for me and my family.
 
Oh, I’m so sorry to hear this…I’ll be praying for you and your family. Prayers that you will find a good job out there very soon…and that you will manage financially, in the meantime. :gopray:
 
Jesus I implore Your attention and You assistance for this family. Please give the the necessary support, and help this mother to obtain the secure employment that she needs.

Jesus You lived amongst us and experienced the need for food, clothes and shelter, and saw the hard labour that Joseph undertook for You and Your dear Mother as you grew up, and we presume that later, You carried on his trade to support You and Your Mother. Later, when You went about teaching You were supported by donations from the labours of others, so now in our lifetimes we ask You help for those who are unemployed or under-employed, and right now, especially for this couple.

I pray that you trust completely in the Lord and receive assistance from caring loved ones and charitable organizations until you find new work. May you apply for any job you think you can do and let the Lord help you get hired. You will all definitely be in my prayers.
