I had a tubal ligation before becoming Catholic, can I still receive communion?

had a tubal ligation performed. About a year later, I began attending RCIA classes and recently was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic church. Am I still in a constant state of sin? Should I not be receiving communion? Do I have to have it reversed in order to not be sinning anymore?

The Church does not require someone to undergo surgery to be Catholic. When you were baptized all your sins were forgiven. You are free to receive communion.
