In PREP last night we studied the new commandment “Love one another as I have loved you”. For homework, I told the kids they had to go to everyone in their home on Thanksgiving and tell them what they were thankful to them for, especially if they did not always get along lovingly with that person.

Since I have never given my kids anything I would not do: Although I do not always agree with everything or everyone posting, permit me to tell all of you:
  • I am thankful to the staff at CA that these forums exist.
  • I am thankful for the knowledge of the faith that you all share and from which I continue to learn.
  • I am thankful for the passion for the Church that you all have.
  • I am thankful for the time that you take to explain the same point 100 times so that someone can understand.
  • I am thankful for the welcoming that you show to new members or those truly seeking answers.
  • I am thankful for the unwavering defense of the faith you give and the wisdom you show.
  • I am thankful for the prayers you give to each other.
  • I am thankful for you as my brothers and sisters in faith.
Sorry for posting this in the TradCath forum, but I know most folks at least lurk in here from time to time.

Have a blessed Thanksgiving, and may the guardian angels watch over all those travelling and bring them home safe.

I went to Mass yesterday to Thank the Lord for my blessings and thought I had a fairly comprehensive list.

Thank you for reminding me (and probably others) of the blessings of all the folks here who put up with my foolishness and silly questions.

Patrick
