Please pray for me, I had to put my dog, Benny, to sleep tonight. This is incredibly painful. My whole life was wrapped up around this dog that I’ve had more than 14 years. When my husband died two years ago, I at least had Benny. Now I feel like I’ve lost my husband all over again and for good this time.

I’m so alone. I have no family and no children. I’ve been begging God to please bring the right man for me into my life.

I am very sorry for the loss of your Benny, dogs are such a comfort to us. Things are hard now, but I hope you will have someone new in your life soon. :hug3:
 
I’m so very sorry about Benny, and for your distress. Praying for you, that you may find peace of mind again and someone to share your life with.

Get a new pet dog. Even from the animal shelter or something.
You could look for a house trained dog or go for a puppy.
 
Thereseozi, you will be in my prayers today. Losing a beloved pet like your Benny is a deep loss.

I had a beautiful little spaniel that was a good friend and companion to all of us in the family:). I am convinced that like Don Bosco’s el perro Gris, that some angels wear fur coats.

I’m sorry for your loss of Benny. I had to put my golden retriever, Buddy, to sleep last month.
I know the pain you are feeling and it pierces the soul like a sword, indeed!
Good old Buddy was the life of our party! He did every thing in his dog-power to make us happy and we will never forget him.
As for you my dear friend, the sorrow that you are experiencing will subside. In time, the loss of Benny will leave your mind, and you will be left with all the good memories of him.
I will pray for you before I retire to bed this evening. I would also suggest for you to pray to St. Francis of Assisi. He is the patron saint of animals.

Therese,

I was just reading your other thread about Benny having vestibular problems a few hours ago. I was hoping for a good outcome. I am shocked and saddened to hear about your loss. I have a small dog also. My thoughts go out to you.
