I "Hate" Mary? How can I change that?

Just received this in an e-mail as today is the feast of the Most Holy Name of Mary. Altho it goes back to a 2005 homily, I hope it will help you in some way.

We do not adore Mary as that is reserved for God alone. But see what the above link has to say in response to your question (Read 3rd paragraph.)

All I can say to you is that, God choose Mary to bring his son into the world,God wants us to show devotion to Mary,for those who devote their Love to her,and ask her to inteceded ,for us to her son Jesus for us,Pleases God.

Do you have a mother?
Did she stay up at night with you when you were sick?
Did she kiss your " boo boos".
Did you go to her when you had problems?

If no, that might be why

If yes, why would you think the Mother of God, given to us as our mother at the foot of the cross would be anything less?
