I Have a Huge Crush on A Seminarian

There are multiple female saints who - having read their story - I have “crushes” on (St Therese of Liseaux, St Barbara, St Kateri Tekakwitha). It’s a normal human emotion that I wouldn’t worry about unless for whatever reason you would be provoked to do or think something that is wrong, which doesn’t’ seem to be the case here.

I’ve heard from several female friends/coworkers who have been attracted to priests. It’s just a combination of admiration and charisma.

I’m so sad for hearing the word “quit”. I know that this is just ‘crush’ an ‘immature’ feeling. But I don’t know how it comes to the point that I need to quit because it is a sin? Or serving puts me into sins?

I’m deeply disappointed because what I can interpret with your words “quit” is like discouraging me from my faith. And I should leave God because I liked a Seminarian, a future priest.

Quite a jump from “step down from altar serving” to “leave God”. In fact, if your faith in God hinges on acting as an altar server, that in and of itself needs to be discussed with your confessor.
