I came from a non-religious home, and neither my brother nor myself were baptized as children. My brother was very negative and hostile toward any sort of religion for many years, but lately he and his wife have been attending their local Methodist church. Today he called and told me that yesterday he was baptized…at the age of 52! Praise God – I have been praying for him for years! Let us pray for his continued growth in faith.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.
