I Have a problem

Guys i forgot to do a prayer before i went to sleep and i told god id do the prayer before i go to sleep

Pray now. Ask for forgiveness for yourself, and pray for those who don’t even think they should pray.

I often forget to pray at night too. Maybe pray after dinner?

Sometimes, I try to find a quiet few moments for silent prayer or meditation, like at work when it’s lunch time (I close the door to my office, too). By habit, I always say grace, and usually a short bedtime prayer.

I think I try to say huge prayers (like the Rosary) too often before bedtime, which probably isn’t a good idea if you want to stay awake.

Josh, this is not a sin.

Even the intention to pray is a prayer. God is just as pleased that you intended to pray. Forgetting to do a devotion is not a sin. Evening starting a devotion or a prayer habit or even a mortification and then not following through is not a sin.

Really.

Just love God the best you can and don’t sweat it when you make little mistakes like this. God knows that we are in imperfect bodies with imperfect minds.

We’re human. Forgetting is part of being human. I often fall asleep in the middle of my rosary when I go to bed. I have a feeling my guardian angel finishes my rosary for me, and I’ll bet yours said a prayer for you, even though you forgot.
