I have a question on Authority......

I would like to know who has authority to teach the Word of God to all peoples.

If the Bible is the authority, who can tell me that I cannot pick up the Bible and beging to teach everyone? since so many has reject the authority of One Church.

Did Jesus stablished an authority here on earth to teach all He tought?

Many claim that the Church is invisible, can an invisible Church teach visible people? How?

Feel free to expand on this. What are your thoughts on this?

Paul in his letters at one point did say he would not build on another persons work.

I cant see what has changed other than the holy spirit working with they individual.

Dont know what you mean. Can you be more specific?

I suppose, i mean to evangelise, the holy spirit must guide you, or if you hear our lord then be very attentive to what he tells you.

As Catholics, we recognize the authoritative Church and the fact that Christ promised to guide it through the Holy Spirit. That Church teaches us to evangelize, even if it’s as an example. With that recognition, and acceptance, one has the authority to evangelize and as a faithful member of His Church we are guided by the Holy Spirit, through that the Church teaches.

Yeah, my post is about the authority of the Bible as so many claim.
