My parents are pretty genrerous about adult decisions. When my brother did his hair in dreadlocks they finally put an end to that. They also hated his mohawlk and were not very nice about him not being able to get a job. They offered to buy me emo clothes when I dyed my hair black…though it looked nice to me. They never forbade it but they also didn’t hold back on opinions. And we did the same. When my dad grew a beard we let him know it looked dopey.

We can’t see your hair, if it looks nice or if the red streaks look like koolaid racing stripes.

It is scrupoulous to worry if it’s a sin. Either you’re going to do it or you’re not.

That being said, while you are under your parents roof and if they want you to have a neat, mousy appearance just do it. When you have your own place and a job then put red streaks in your hair.

When my little sister went a little wild with her hair my dad told her infont of me that hair can be dyed after 18. I told him “I;m 19…” and he stayed quiet lol. we can dye our hair. My dad says he doesn’t like it, I don’t recall him forbidding it…although he did get mad some time ago when I had 2 blue streaks, and I died my hair black and got rid of it. My father is fairly conservative, as am I, I just like to play around with hair. He just says he likes my dark hair, he tells me to go back to black hair because it looks better, but not in an angry form, just a nit pick. He hasn’t said anything for a while 😛 It’s not causing any troubles at home, I do not attend school so no dress code problems, and If I am to finish a job training coarse and I MUST get rid of the red, I shall do it.

Thanks all for the (name removed by moderator)ut! God Bless!
