i want to know what s your approach on this topic when defending the teaching of catholic church?

and to explain more we can even be humble here and leave each be huminlated but for speaking truth right?

Christ TOLD us what to do. Let your light so shine before men that they see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Feed the hungry, comfort the afflicted, welcome the stranger, bury the dead, love your enemies. That is how you convince people.

Check out the book, How to Defend the Faith Without Raising Your Voice: Civil Responses to Catholic Hot Button Issues.

If the person has a genuinely open mind on the subject, I answer their questions or explain the Catholic teaching .

If they do not seem to have an open mind or are being very disrespectful, I simply tell them they are incorrect, but because they don’t seem to have an open mind I don’t think it would be productive to discuss the issue and they should just have some respect for people who believe differently. I also tell them that if they ever wish to have a discussion with a truly open mind and without saying rude things or whatever, then I am open to discussing my faith with them then.

As for youtube videos, Youtube is a giant dumpster fire and I do not discuss anything of importance on there, nor do I waste my time watching whatever crazy anti-Catholic videos someone decides to create and post.

Some friendly advice: If you are debating online please use punctuation. It makes your argument or position much more credible.

@sebo3e

Some non-Catholic Christians are convinced to their core that Catholics are deeply deceived and in danger of hell. They have been taught lies about what the Church really teaches. Because they hate satan and all lies they hate what they think the Church teaches. They often mean well in their attempts to enlighten you to THE TRUTH. But on the other hand, there are some like Jack Chick that just have too much hate. Don’t even bother communicating with those. Just pray for them. Love them and pray for them.

As a suggestion,

if you are not comfortable in debate, then wait till you have a better handle on facts and can engage more easily with controversy.

Also

Asking questions of your opponent is also good to do. Make them defend Protestantism.

For example

Protestantism began in the 16th century. Therefore it was NOT God, neither Father, Son, or Holy Spirit, that started such divisions from His Church. Jesus expects perfect unity. Therefore as scripture teaches, division is condemned. And since Protestantism believes in scripture alone, ask the Protestant, where scripture allows their division as a Protestant, from the only Church Jesus established, on Peter and those in complete union with Peter.

Bottom line, To be deep in history and scripture, is to be Catholic.

from Acts, 9:31, the Church was called

From the Greek Study Bible
Ἡ μὲν οὖν ἐκκλησία καθ’ ὅλης τῆς
Translation:
ἐκκλησία = church ,
καθ’ = according to ,
ὅλης = whole / all / complete / universal ,
τῆς = the ,
= the Kataholos Church = the Catholic Church.

Ignatius of Antioch, ordained bishop ~68-69 a…d., and a direct disciple of John the apostle, wrote 6 letters to the Church in 6 locations. Ignatius, in writing, calls the Church he is writing to, in which he is made bishop in, the Catholic Church ch 8 . Only one place he could have learned that from, the apostles. And the name has been there from the beginning.

First defending the faith does not explicitly mean that you can offer your apologetic through speech. We sometimes become too attached to winning the war through debate. The gifts of the Spirit grant burdens in different aspects of life. It is important that those who are burdened to defend the faith through speech do so. It is equally important for those who defend her through prayer do so and so on.

Apologetics and debate are valuable to those who can comprehend them but, as you have mentioned, not everyone will. This is where other gifts begin to lift the weight in order to cooperate with God to save.
