"I have a special love for Poland" - Jesus

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Recently I posted this entry from the “Diary of St. Faustina”:

1732 - As I was praying for Poland , I heard the words (from Jesus):** I have a special love for Poland, and if she will be obedient to My will, I will exalt her in might and holiness. From her will come forth the spark that will prepare the world for My final coming**.

Then I read the following, a day or so later:

KRAKOW - The bishops of Poland have formally recognized Jesus Christ as King of Poland. The bishops, in the presence of Polish president Andrzej Duda, performed an official act of recognition on November 19, at the Church of Divine Mercy in Krakow.

The act was repeated in all Polish cathedrals and parishes on Sunday. The action of the Polish bishops is consistent with Pope Pius IX’s 1925 encyclical “Quas Primas,” which solidified the devotion to Christ the King.

In the encyclical, Pope Pius IX wrote, “When once men recognize, both in private and in public life, that Christ is King, society will at last receive the great blessings of real liberty, well-ordered discipline, peace and harmony.”

He continued, “Our Lord’s regal office invests the human authority of princes and rulers with a religious significance; it ennobles the citizen’s duty of obedience.”

“Nations will be reminded by the annual celebration of this feast that not only private individuals but also rulers and princes are bound to give public honor and obedience to Christ,” he explained.

Would that more Bishops of the World would take heed of this powerful action taken by the Bishops of Poland, on Nov. 19, 2016, the eve of the Feast of Christ the King and the close of the Year of Mercy! I believe St. Faustina and St. John Paul II are continuing to pray for their native country. May we do the same. Our world needs saints here on earth as well as in heaven, praying for their countries and for the world to come under the Kingship of Christ. He will come again and will He find faith on the earth?

Come, Lord Jesus. By the power of your Holy Spirit and through the intercession of your Holy Mother and all the saints, come rule in our hearts and in the hearts of all the world. Jesus, we trust in You!

Thanks so much for your reply, I too thought it was awesome!

The “connection” between what St. Faustina wrote (circa 1938) and the news from Poland in 2016 really stunned me.! I don’t know what better title I may have used to get more people to read this thread, but it is very significant to me – considering also our conclusion of the “Year of Mercy” on the Feast of Christ the King.

How I wish the Bishops of the USA and of every country in the world would take note and follow the action of the Polish Bishops in every Diocese of the World. I’m thinking of sending the article to my Bishop – along with the words from St. Faustina. I don’t know if our Bishop actually reads all his e-mails or letters. It may be a secretary who sorts and replies to most but…I’ll continue to pray about it.
