I have cancer, and a 7 month old baby

The last time I posted was when I was pregnant (I’m usually a lurker). Thanks to your prayers and support, the pregnancy and childbirth went smoothly. My sweet baby is now 7 months old. She is the love of my life, along her 12 and 10 year old brothers. I’m so grateful…

I learned a little over 2 weeks ago that I have ovarian cancer (stage 3, I believe), and I had a hysterectomy. While I’m recovering from the surgery, I’m still getting over the shock of the diagnosis. I’ve been unable to take care of my baby, or even hold her. Thankfully, different family members have flown into town (I live far away from family) to take turns caring for her.

Now I’m awaiting chemotherapy, which starts in about 2 weeks.
I’M SO SCARED. 😦

I know I have a long journey ahead, and I’m terrified of what awaits me. Most of all, I’m scared of dying and leaving my children without a mom.

I’ll truly appreciate your prayers. Thank you in advance.
 
I will be praying daily for strength and healing for you. I will also pray that God’s peace and presence surround you!
 
I hope that they can do something to get you rid of it.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Jesus have Mercy on this woman and her young kids, You love everyone, please do not let them be orphans.
 
Praying to St. Peregrine for your health & recovery. Praying for the intentions of your family as well.
 
I pray that G-d guide your doctors to a course of treatment that will be successful in destroying the cancer and leading to your total recovery.
 
I shall keep you in my prayers. I am a twenty four year ovarian cancer survivor

I am so sorry for your very difficult illness. :console: I can’t imagine how hard this time must be for you. I offer prayers for healing for you and for your baby.
 
I’m so sorry you’ve had this distressing diagnosis. Praying for you all and hoping that your treatment goes without complication, leaving you completely healed.
 
A Prayer for Healing Cancer

Heavenly Father, I come before you with a solemn heart and in need of your intercession. I pray that the cancer that has come into my life soon fades into a quick remission.

I believe in your capacity for miracles, and ask for this on my behalf. As we grow older, I know we become closer to the day you accept us back into your kingdom. I ask that you delay that holy union if it be your will. In your name I pray,
