The last time I posted was when I was pregnant (I’m usually a lurker). Thanks to your prayers and support, the pregnancy and childbirth went smoothly. My sweet baby is now 7 months old. She is the love of my life, along her 12 and 10 year old brothers. I’m so grateful…

I learned a little over 2 weeks ago that I have ovarian cancer (stage 3, I believe), and I had a hysterectomy. While I’m recovering from the surgery, I’m still getting over the shock of the diagnosis. I’ve been unable to take care of my baby, or even hold her. Thankfully, different family members have flown into town (I live far away from family) to take turns caring for her.

Now I’m awaiting chemotherapy, which starts in about 2 weeks.
I’M SO SCARED.

I know I have a long journey ahead, and I’m terrified of what awaits me. Most of all, I’m scared of dying and leaving my children without a mom.
I’ll truly appreciate your prayers. Thank you in advance.

We have corruptible bodies that start dying after our first breath, in theory. BUT, WE BELIEVERS, WE, WHO ARE CHILDREN OF THE MOST HIGH GOD, are allowed to refuse those words and quote words of healing. I HEAR WHAT YOU SAY DOCTOR BUT I AM GOING TO FIGHT THIS WITH THE SPIRIT OF THE MOST HIGH GOD. I AM A KING’S KID AND THE ENEMY IN THE FORM OF CANCER WILL NOT WIN,

I WILL PUT ON MY WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD (read Ephesians around chapter 4,5,or6. Ephesians is nice to read chapter 3: 14==21 is one of my favorites.)
John 10:10 GOD HAS PROMISED US LIFE AND MORE ABUNDANTLY THAN WE CAN EVER ASK.
ISAIAH: 40’s I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU. I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU ORPHANED. I WILL NEVER FORGET MY OWN.ETC. there’s a little more to that verse. Write them down. Leave in a computer. Print them out. Small books can be bought at Christian book stores on PRAYERS FOR HEALING. ISAIAH 45: I think is"BY HIS STRIPES I AM HEALED."
NOW, knowing you will be healed doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be resonable about LIVING WILLS, HEALTH CARE POWER OF ATTORNEYS AND LASTLY A REGULAR WILL. Do it soon so you can put those thoughts away. Remember to get the sacrament of the sick and confession. Father can come to your house. Ask him to leave you some Holy oil and H2O. You take pills 3x’s /day. In our spiritual world you can be prayed for and anointed w Holy H2O and Oil by a family member or yourself 3x’s/ day. When you call the priest, ask if he could bring small bottles of Holy Oils andH2O… Give a little donation, if you can.As God’s child, we never lose. To be absent from the body, is to be present with the
Lord. Death, where is your victory, where is your sting. Your children will be cared for. That is something you should think about. What families members are the most responsible to help w your children. But, after all the practical stuff is done, you only keep on your armor of God and keep reciting the healing scripture verses. . Look back on some of these prayers. The Memorare. Say the rosary. There are prayers by St. Theresa the little flower. It is potent. St. CYPRIAN is the Patron saint of pts with cancer and festering wounds. He says, to “TAKE UP YOUR CROSS DAILY AND FOLLOW ME”
WE are to thank Him for the privilege of carrying His cross. Matthew chapter 11 is where He says," COME UNTO ME YE WHO ARE HEAVY LADEN AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST. THERE’S MORE TO READ. Every day, start a journal, have your children greet God w you for the day. After they’re gone put some more of you armor on. Evaluate ==chemo nausea too much treared w Ativan sub lingual. It helped after 30 mom. I am able to eat Ramen chichen noodles or whatever you like. Take pain med when needed but then, stand up, try the commode while the pain med is on board. Never be alone when you’re out of bed. You could fall. Pray for wisdom for the doctors and compassion for any nurses.
