I have come into a few books and was wondering if anyone had any opinions, thoughts or knowledge of them.

I have one Copy of the following:

The Celebration of Mass I: General Rubrics of the Missal
The Celebration of Mass II: The Rite of Celebration of Low Mass
The Celebration of Mass III: The Rite of High Mass and Sung Mass
(By Rev. J. O’Connell)

The Sacred Ceremonies of Low Mass (By Rev. Felix Zualdi, C.M.)

The Splendour Of the Liturgy (By Maurice Zundel)

The Church’s Year of Grace: Volumes III and IV
(by, Dr. Pius Parsch)

The Sacramentary Volume Five
(by Ildefonso Schuster)

The Prayer of the Church - Interim Version of the New Roman Breviary

New testament for spiritual reading - 2 Corth , Hebrews, James

You- (By Rev. M. Raymond O.C.S.O)

I have a friend that is almost done with his 2nd Theology at Mount St. Marys and Maybe these might be useful to him when he is ordained?

Or I could lend them to local priests that want to learn the Traditional Mass.

Id like to get some feed back on all of this

thanks

Chris

Great collection of books:thumbsup: 👍 👍

Wish I had them:thumbsup: 👍

They would be quite valuable, particularly the ones in bold print to any one interested in the Traditional Mass.

If you ever decide to getrid of them let me know. I’d be interested in buying them.

If your friend is doing all right book wise, I’d give 'em to the local priests who are interested. We want to make it as simple as possible for those who are willing to say the TLM.

P.S. In terms of thoughts on the books, “Splendour of the Liturgy” is supposed to be an argument for the TLM from an aesthetic and literary standpoint, and very well done. I haven’t read it myself though.

Yes, all the boldened books in the list above indeed are wonderful and much sought-after in terms of the TLM.

Some of those books, for example by Fr. O’Connell, would be of great help to priests wishing to learn the TLM. I say lend them on condition the priests pass them around!

The Sacramentary by Bl. Schuster is excellent as well.
