FWIW, this is what Holly posted exactly a week ago today:
Hello there to all Christian Wiccans/Witches! I have a question for you. How can you possibly believe in both Christianity and Wicca or Witchcraft when the Bible clearly condemns witchcraft and divination and such?
(Leviticus 19:26 NAB-A) Do not eat meat with the blood still in it. Do not practice divination or soothsaying.
(Nahum 3:4 NAB-A) For the many debaucheries of the harlot, fair and charming, a mistress of witchcraft, Who enslaved nations with her harlotries, and peoples by her witchcraft:
(2 Kings 17:17 NAB-A) They immolated their sons and daughters by fire, practiced fortune-telling and divination, and sold themselves into evil doing in the LORD’S sight, provoking him
(2 Kings 17:18 NAB-A) till, in his great anger against Israel, the LORD put them away out of his sight. Only the tribe of Judah was left.
These are just a few of the verses in the Bible that condemn divination and Witchcraft. So I ask, how can you possibly consider yourself to be a Christian Witch or Wiccan?
**Oddly enough, Holly is an image of repentance.
No matter how far she wanders away, she always comes back to faith.
I mean this seriously: God must love her dearly.
Holly, dear soul, don’t worry. Those of us who have followed you on these blogs are not scandalized. We have more patience with you than you have for yourself.
I’ve suffered from terrible clilnical depression, myself (like a couple of saints have as well), and I learned that frequently my moods were not me, but were the disease talking.**
