I have low spirits right now

I’m feeling gloomy at the moment. This morning I wanted to work on my various college projects but wasn’t able to get to them. Recently this evening, I have having these irritated thoughts over a recent run-in I had with fellow-Catholics on another site. I thought I had gotten over the run-in but every now and then I keep having these thoughts about what was said, and what I wish I had said.

I’m also in a state of mortal sin, and this probably is playing a big part in this, I do feel rather depressed about being in this state and having to wait until Saturday in order to go confession.

I need prayers to get through this.

The devil wants nothing more than for us to have
contentions w/ our bros and sisters in Christ, it is
NOT against flesh and blood we are striving against,
but the rulers, authorities and powers of this dark
world and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly
places. So, forgive those brethren with whom you
have contention with just as God in Christ has
forgiven you.

As to the mortal sin(s) in your life, feel safe in the
arms of Jesus who is carrying you until you reach
the safety of the Sheep Fold, He never will abandon
His own sheep!

I’m struggling a lot with college right now. I’m doing English Literature, and one of the problems with me doing these projects is a lot of the projects involve promoting immortality, I try and laugh at how wrong these things are and focus on the aspects of these materials that totally debunk their message, but it’s still hard.

The current project I’m working on fortunately, has almost no immoral message in it, however it’s due soon, and I’m far behind. Please pray that I can pull it together and finish it, and also be able to deal with the other projects I’m working on.

Thank you everyone for your prayers, I have gone to confession and am improving quite a bit now. I really need to work on having courage, and overcoming my fear and cowardice. Our Lady of Guadalupe’s words definitely help here.
