I really appreciate your prayers.

I went to bed feeling ok, but I kept waking up. I got maybe 2 hours of sleep. I don’t know what happens to me at night. I was nervous, anxious, and agitated.
praying for you

Thank you all very much.

When I come to work, I try not to think about it. Unfortunately, a “friend” called me and told me a story of knowing someone who had melanoma and “was dead within 4 days of being diagnosed”.

Why would she do that? I don’t understand.

You are not alone.

Our Father,
Who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come,
Thy Will be done,
on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary,
full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou
among women,
and blessed is the
Fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.

Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Lord make haste to calm Denise, and help her anxiety so that she can gether rest.

Denise, there is a good article about a man with melanoma who had 3 months to live. He met Mother Teresa on a flight, and she gave him a miraculous medal. I read it today, and thought it was significant because today is the feast of the Immaculate Conception, and as you probably know, the inscription on the medal is “I am the Immaculate Conception”.
I don’t know how to post links, but I googled “Mother teresa and miraculous medal”, and found the article in the St. Anthony Messenger.

The man was healed, and is still healthy after 10 years.

“O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee”.

(Just a gentle thought: If anxiety and fear continue to threaten to overwhelm you to such a degree . . . perhaps it would be of help to consult with your family doctor in regard to assistance handling such an extreme degree of anxiety and fear . . . sometimes . . . even when attempting to prayer:gopray2:fully adjust to and cope with difficulties and stresses that come up in life . . . a mild tranquilizer or a mild sedative to help with sleep can be a healthy temporary blessing in keeping stable, healthy and balanced both emotionally and physically.)**

Thank you everyone. You are all so wonderful!

I did see my doctor and she prescribed an anti anxiety medication and something to help me sleep (only to take as needed).

I know it takes a while for a medication to build up in the system, but I have felt some sense of relief over the last couple of days, and i attribute it to the prayers.

I’m very grateful.

+Precious Lord . . . because of this Mother’s condition this family has been introduced into considerable depths within the medical community . . . keep them wonderfully clothed and peacefully strengthened in Thy Faith with the holy morals and wisdom of Thy Wonderful Catholic Church as they prayer:gopray2:fully undergo this time of trial . . . and we praise and abundantly thank Thee for the marvelously comforting and guiding passages in Sacred :bible1: Scripture concerning the medical community and their healing arts . . . which the Sweet Spirit of our Lord has given us in Thy Holy :bible1: Word for our encouragement . . . along with the sweet awareness of St. Luke . . . who was so close to Thy Holy Mother . . . and who as Thy chosen physician wrote under Thy inspiration the holy :bible1: Biblical Books of Luke and the **Acts of the Apostles **. . . may our hearts meditate and be comforted by these thoughts . . .

The Holy Bible
Ecclesiasticus 23:1-14

[1]** Honour the physician for the need thou hast of him:** for the most High hath created him. [2] For all healing is from God, and he shall receive gifts of the king. [3] The skill of the physician shall lift up his head, and in the sight of great men he shall be praised. [4] The most High hath created medicines out of the earth, and a wise man will not abhor them. [5] Was not bitter water made sweet with wood?

[6] The virtue of these things is come to the knowledge of men, and the most High hath given knowledge to men, that he may be honoured in his wonders. [7] By these he shall cure and shall allay their pains, and of these the apothecary shall make sweet confections, and shall make up ointments of health, and of his works there shall be no end. [8] For the peace of God is over all the face of the earth. [9] My son, in thy sickness neglect not thyself, but pray :gopray2: to the Lord, and he shall heal thee. [10] Turn away from sin and order thy hands aright, and cleanse thy heart from all offence.

[11] Give a sweet savour, and a memorial of fine flour, and make a fat offering, and then give place to the physician. [12] For the Lord created him: and let him not depart from thee, for his works are necessary. [13] For there is a time when thou must fall into their hands: [14] And they shall beseech the Lord, that he would prosper what they give for ease and remedy, for their conversation.

. . . thank You Sweet Lord our God+
