My 8 yr old son went to meet with the RCIA for children director today because he has been saying he wanted to for a while now. He decided that he wants to join the Church so I went out and bought him his first Rosary today. When we got home from the meeting I put his brothers to bed and we prayed the Rosary together for the first time. I have NEVER felt such peace and happiness in my life as I did at that moment. While we were praying I got this big grin on my face 😃 and I peeked over and my son had one too. I dont think I have ever felt the power of the Holy Spirit that much in my life. PRAISE GOD!!! 😃

GLORY BE TO THE FATHER, AND TO THE SON, AND TO THE HOLY SPIRIT - AS IT WAS IN THE BEGINNING, IS NOW AND EVER SHALL BE! God bless you and your little praying boy! :signofcross:

That is so kool I remember our children singing in toungs and I can truly accept your feelings God bless

The Rosary is AWESOME! It is a very powerful prayer, if not THE MOST POWERFUL. May the Blessed Mother Bless you and your family with her most gracious Blessings!! Jesus and the Blessed Mother love you and your family VERY MUCH. It is very evident! Back in “the day” people used to say a “family rosary” together after dinner. If you look back at the way things used to be, the world was a better place because of it!

How wonderful was your post?! Blessings to you and your son and family! Keep on saying “The Rosary”.🙂

That is wonderful. It encourages me to pray the rosary with MY kids!

that is wonderful, and that is exactly how it is supposed to happen, the child expresses the desire for conversion and the parent helps him achieve it. I foresee this RCIA period and reception of the sacraments for this child will be a time of immense graces not only for him but for the whole family. I see it every year and it is the best part of my job. Blessed parent, blessed child.

Blessings indeed! I love saying the rosary with my children.
