No, not with the condoms. Although, the act is sinful as it is so whether condoms make it “more sinful” really is a moot point.

It’s a non-story really, the press and tv in the UK have been full of reports as if it’s some kind of volte face by the Church. It never ceases to astonish me the obsession of the media with the Church’s teaching on this matter. Then again if someone is telling you something you know is true and you don’t want to hear perhaps their ‘obsession’ is understandable. There was something similar a couple of months ago when the Archbishop of Canterbury was reported to have said that it was ok for Bishops in the Anglican church to be homosexual. However he also said, which was not as widely reported, that they MUST be celibate.
