I just threw up! Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise on MTV

Okay, I was sitting in my bed watching the already offensive MTV movie awards and Katie Holmes came out and was so gross I cannot handle it. Please tell me I am not the only one. I saw on a news reel today that someone was making tee-shirts saying “FREE KATIE”. What do you all think?

I heard somewhere that Katie was a Catholic and I want to stress the word was becuase tabloid reports have her and Tom sharing scientology now.

You ask what I think? I think you should not be watching something that you already knew was offensive - what is the point???

Haven’t been following it…to be honest I’ve tired of all the Hollywood nonsense and their behavior.

But because she is from the area I do know that Katie Holmes WAS Catholic and attended Notre Dame Academy in Toledo.
 
I don’t care about the private lives of celebs. I do love movies though. I think War of the Worlds is going to be amazing.
 
I think we really need to be praying for all the Hollywood types. Especially the young ones who are so vulnerable and are exposed to so much at such a young age. It is not a healthy or moral lifestyle, to say the least.

Just think of Fr. Corapi’s life before he came back to the Church, that he got sucked into the power, drugs, alcohol and greed of that lifestyle.

Tom Cruise was supposedly a devout Catholic before embracing the horribly-flawed and laughable world of Scientology.

Nicole Kidman was or still is Catholic.
Penelope Cruz was or still is Catholic.
Katie Holmes was or still is Catholic.

I think Tom Cruise is on a mission to convert all Catholics to Scientology, one actress at a time. :bigyikes: Beware!
 
I think they both are utterly ignorable. Although with them on every newsstand, most variety shows and the news who can? They both seem like very silly and ridiculous people…they deserve each other and the end that all of Tom’s trists come to!

I was wondering about that very same thing today. Hmm, is this a pattern? He can’t convert one, then moves to the next, and so on. I hope he stays away from my house. I might have to throw Holy Water on him!

I agree with you movingmom. Although, I think maybe Tom is really the nutty one and Katie is just young and caught up in it and will look back on these days some day and shudder!!

Or let’s call the glass half full…maybe she’ll convert him and then he’ll calm down a little!
