You do realize that there are a lot of kooks on the internet, and that the kooks disproportionately comment on articles and things, because a lot of them don’t have anything better to do. The billions of people who don’t think that this is going to happen just don’t bother to seek out articles on natural disasters and comment that they don’t think they mean anything. These are only a few people that don’t think it will happen this year…go on any article about a natural disaster happening and people are all over it saying Jesus is coming soon. I’m appreciative of those who are trying to comfort me.
Please do find a counsellor who can understand where you’re coming from, because as you indicated yourself, you may not be entirely rational in how you are evaluating the evidence for this.
Does God love you? Yes. Then fear not, for He is with you always. Anything bad that might happen to you or your loved ones, He can make work for good. If you ask Him, He will comfort and sustain you in times of trouble, including this one–and by “this one” I mean this time of fear.My biggest fear is being tortured and being seperated from those I love and being alone in a world during an apocolyptic aftermath. (Not saying I would be necessarily, but I think about this stuff often…what if I die from a nuclear fallout? an earthquake? etc) Thanks for your reply.
God bless you,
