So many non-catholics come here saying they are christians, and all they can do with the bible and faith is attack catholics. Look around Non-Catholic Christians. The darkness is out there. Look and see. Perhaps you are afraid of the dark. non-catholics say they want christian unity and to spread the gospel. Yet some of them come here, and fight, instead of running with the candle into the REAL darkness, where demons and hate dwell. I have given up trying to convince you to be brave. But at least you could stop preventing us who want to from shinging the light into where it is ACTUALLY needed.

Sorry but the same could be said for many Roman Catholics on this site. Many pick fights starting nothing but baiting threads and then claim to be just defending Roman Catholicism. If both sides are so secure in their faith then threads like that would not be necessary.

If we really want to unite then more threads should be started discussing how to further spread the Gospel.

Aren’t you attaching non-Catholics with this post? yes, it is sad that so many non-Catholics feel the “calling” to save us from the evils of the Church. But then again, many of us need to be saved, if for nothing more, from ourselves.

Even after I converted to the Catholic Faith, I wasn’t a Christian. I obeyed the sacraments and laws of the Church but didn’t have a personal relationship with Christ.

NOW that I have Invited Jesus into my heart and chosen to follow Him as my personal Lord and Savior, everything I do as a Catholic makes sense.

When asked what’s the difference between Catholics and “Christians” the answer is sample:

Not all Christians are Catholic but not all Catholic are Christians.

As Keith Green once said, “Going to Church no more makes you a Christian than going to McDonalds makes you a hamburger.”

It is easy to show non-Catholics what we have in common.

I agree full-heartedly. One becomes tired of the same old complaints about the other, repeated ad nauseam. It occurs to me that in development work internationally, we do not stand around looking at the HIV pandemic, for example, saying oh dearie, dearie me, this is a bad situation, and no one but me knows the truth about what is happening - and then go no further than that.

It is essential to move off interminable and useless concentration on divisiveness, towards are appreciation of common-ness, not just among the Christian community, but among all belief communities, in the interests of a humane and just global community.
