I know we Catholics are supposed oppose homosexual acts but

i thought all sinners who live a life of sin have demons in them
 
I’d have to know what he means by a “contagious demonic factor.” Statements like that are very difficult to judge in themselves since we don’t know his normal manner of speaking or the full context of the quote.
 
Yet another empty thread on homosexuality. And this one is just utterly goading.
 
He may be overstating it, but I don’t think by much. Satan uses any door, window, crack or peep hole he can find to get into our lives. I’m not sure about Hollywood style (pea soup vomit and flying beds) possession… But if Satan has you under control, that sounds like possession to me.

Does sexuality outside of God’s plan bring you closer to God or to satan? The answer seems obvious

Could be a case of one type of sinner trying to look good in comparison to another type of sinner:shrug:
 
I suppose it’s possible. I don’t really know much about demons except that they exist and I don’t want them. Is all sinful behavior inspired by demons? Certainly we have some responsibility due to our fallen nature. I’m interested in reading this thread.
 
Fr. Davies is a medical doctor (I suppose that might be “former”) and in 1993 he co-founded, along with Father Gabriele Amorth and four others, the International Association of Exorcists which now has hundreds of members worldwide.

Fr. Amorth is the exorcist of the Diocese of Rome and recently wrote An Exorcist Tells His Story.

I am convinced some people…I’ve noticed they’re generally new users…seem to like to start these threads. They’re just litter. And I think some people just like to pollute Catholic forums with sexual litter.

If you did some sort of natural language processing of all the homosexual threads, you probably could distill the concepts, truths, issues to about 8 points, and stick them in a dixie cup.

more liberal .

I find it interesting that you see this as a “homosexual thread”… I see it as more of a “demon possession” thread. Homosexuality is only one third of the issues the priest says may cause demonic possession.

I think this is a perfectly valid and interesting thread. It does contain some litter, granted, but none of that is about the topic presented. It’s about not liking certain threads.
