We just found out that DH’s school may be consolidating! We are so scared. If this actually happens, every teacher in both schools would be fired and then have to fight for the newly created positions. We are both beyond words scared of this. The main reason? We have MASSIVE debt from early in our marriage. We finally got it together this year and have begun paying it off, but if DH loses his salary, we simply won’t be able to make it. We could lose everything. Our home means the world to us. Yes, it’s just a thing, but it is very special. It’s nothing fancy, just a really cute little brick ranch that we bought from the people who built it in 1952! We don’t want to have to uproot DD, in fact that would be the absolute worse thing that could happen. Please pray for my family over the coming months. They are having a town hall discussion next month to begin the discussions of what options are out there. they’re even going to discuss possible sharing of resources. these two schools are just 10 miles apart, and are both class D schools. merging them would result in just another class D school. we’re not sure how much sense that makes. there are so many unknowns right now. thanks for your prayers-twk

The important thing right now is not to worry. God has a plan, as He always does. Sometimes he throws a curve into your life that you are not expecting, to help you grow in faith and trust. Rise to the occasion! Remember He says, "So do not worry; Do not say, “What are we to eat? What are we to drink? What are we to wear? It is the gentiles who set their hearts on all these things. Your heavenly Father knows you need them all. Set your hearts on his kingdom first, and on God’s saving justice and all these other things will be given you as well.” And also, “So do not worry about tomorrow: tomorrow will take care of itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” (Mathew 6: 25-34)
I have been there before, with huge debt and precarious job position. I gave my finances over to God and told Him to take care of it all. He did, in an amazing and marvelous way. He will take care of you, too, for you and your family, beyond your wildest imaginings, are precious to Him.

You will indeed be in my prayers. Take courage.
