Ok, im going to try to keep this as short and simple for the time being as I need to get some rest however, my thing is, I like to judge people and I dont know why. I think that when you are a practicing catholic and you know your in the right with God, and that you observe and keep his commandments, have good moral stature and make right decisions, that you come across people that dont look to be the same or doing the same and I seem to judge them to a certain degree.
Sometimes, it drives me. Sometimes when I hear someone talk and such, i get the impression there not a good tree. Is this the right thing here? is this God giving me the discerning skills that he wants, that i prayed for?
I mean surely, going through life as a Christian, there are alot of non-christians, and those that are enemies to God, I feel that if i put on an approach where “every body is good”, than I deceive myself in thinking everyone is saved and thus theres no point to my good works, church attendance, and prayer.
On the other hand, if I judge everyone critically I seem to eat away at myself and I get guilty for not bieng a good person as well, nor a good christian.
And this is the very troublesome dilemma I have here living in North America where I am trying to discern people, love them, and also not judge them wronglly, yet I do want a moral and religious compass and guildeline so I dont injure myself, nor fall into a trap or snare…
