I Love Our Blessed Mother!

I love Our Blessed Lady because she is always there for me when I need her - and even sometimes when I don’t. She always leads me back to her Son. Her humility is such that she wants no veneration for herself; she wants us to give everything to her son, Our Lord.

There have been times when my faith has been shaken and each time the Blessed Mother was there to build it up again. She leads me by the hand straight into the Church.

Jesus is exhalted high above everything else in my life; but his Mother occupies a special place within my heart. Her faith is really inspiring to me, and I believe she is a role model to us all.

The Virgin is almost like a caring grandmother to me. Whenever I am down, she is there to comfort me. She always tells me: “speak to my son, and he’ll help you.”

How do you feel about the Blessed Virgin Mary?

She’s our mommy. She seems also to be really persevering and even sly (just like what her Son said to be - as wise as a serpent/sly as a fox and as innocent as a dove)!!! She leads us to her Son even when we’re not aware that that’s what she’s doing (as long as she knows she has “carte blanche” from us) .

What a beautiful testimony.

I’ve recently been praying the Rosary a lot and trying to grow closer to Mary. This morning, as I prayed the Rosary on my drive to work, I was missing my little daughter and longing to be home with her (as I do daily). I got the distinct “message” or feeling or whatever that Mary was telling me that she is watching over her when I have to be at work. It wasn’t anything audible or visual, just a thought that popped into my head.

Lately, when I’m really down about work and stuff going on in our lives, I try to draw near to her in her suffering as she held her Son’s body at the foot of the cross. It helps put things in perspective.

Thank you Jesus, for sharing your mother with us. Thank you Mary, for bringing us closer to your Son.
