I love the Holy Spirit

That’s all. I just love Him. About ten years ago I was sitting at work – this was before I converted – and I just felt filled with His joy. It was sudden and total bliss and I knew that it was Him. I’ve had moments like that throughout my life, moments when I felt loved like nothing else.

I’ve read that April is the month of the Holy Spirit. Every month is His for me.

If you have not yet, you really must get the book Pilgrim Fellowship of Faith by (then) Cardinal Ratzinger. The chapter titled “The Holy Spirit as Communion” opened my eyes to the Holy Spirit like nothing else I have ever read.

How wonderful “Jazz”, thank you for sharing your love of the Holy Spirit. You’re right. He is amazing… and He is awesome.

Isn’t it also amazing… how when contemplating the different Persons of the Holy Trinity… you can feel His love, in different… yet unified… ways. The Father… a Paternal Love. The Son… a Redeeming Love… the Holy Spirit… a Firey Love!

Our God is SO awesome!

I just came across an awesome prayer to the Holy Spirit. I am not exactly sure where It came from.
“I freely subject myself to your power, “O most Holy Spirit”, transform my life so that I may be more like Christ. As fire transforms everything it touches, so too, Holy Spirit I beg you to transform me. Heal in me Holy Spirit, all that needs healing”.
