Could this be a “Fly Paper” forum wherein all you “TRADS” are posting in a single Forum, so “we” now know who & where you is??

On the other hand, it is a tribute to Catholic Answers’ true “Diversity-in-Unity” expression.
In comparison to the ILliberalism of Liberalism in the church members…

Finally, the tradtional (all the aspects of pre-1958 church teaching & practice) no longer have to be infiltrated into other forums to get a point made for tradtionalism.
Very Cool, very perceptive of Catholic Answers.

Just keep the heat to a touchable temperature. Tirades convince NO ONE.

Sedevantism will be a potential hot spot as the convictions on both sides are nearly as impregnable as Tungsten steel alloy:
A hard, brittle, corrosion-resistant, gray to white metallic element extracted from wolframite, scheelite, and other minerals, having the highest melting point and lowest vapor pressure of any metal. Tungsten and its alloys are used in high-temperature structural materials; in electrical elements, notably lamp filaments; and in instruments requiring thermally compatible glass-to-metal seals. Atomic number 74; atomic weight 183.84; melting point 3,410°C; boiling point 5,900°C
.

I do welcome and appreciate this effort…hopefully it will be not abused by non charitable comments and discussions…

Peace and all good,

james

Since joining this site I’ve had my eyes further opened to what the Church looked, sounded, felt, smelt and tasted like before the Second Vatican Council.

While I owe much of my growth and formation in the faith to the holy zeal of those Catholics who lived through, and took up, Vatican II, I am looking forward to discovering the richness that many people on this site are endeavouring to see preserved in the liturgies and practices that preceded it.

I want the best of both worlds! Thank you CA. 🙂

Traditional Catholic, yes. Reactionary, no.
I think of myself as traditional in the sense that some of the things being done “in the spirit of Vatican II” are being done by well-meaning people who may not have been born at the time of the Ecumenical Council, and/or have not taken time to read many of the documents that resulted.
The TLM is only a small part of the movement. I would like to have holy priests celebrating a Holy Mass, regardless of the language. The Mass is not a show, the time has come to reemphasize the Real Presense of Christ in the Mass and to show the respect and reverence He should have. I would prefer priests and laity who believe in the Seven Sacraments as equal but different, not seeing some as “minor sacraments”. It wouldn’t be offensive if the pastors returned to preaching the Ten Commandments, not fearing to call a sin a sin, even though it might bruise a few consciences.
Most of all, I pray with Our Lord that we all may be one, with the successor of Peter as our leader on Earth.

Hi. When did this Traditional Catholicism trial-forum start?? I just noticed it today. This is exciting!

Thanks Caesar! I think this is good, especially because of the upcoming motu propio. This forum could be used so that people understand what is at stake concerning the TLM.
Indeed. I’m sure we can expect a flood of new threads and posts when the document is finally issued.

I think all who are traditional-minded Catholics should express their support and appreciation to the moderators and hosts at Catholic Answers who have provided us with forum that deals with traditional issues. It truly is a blessing and let’s hope that this trial-forum becomes permanent someday! 👍

I agree. A thank you is in order here.

Thank you very much for this new forum 😃

Ditto! 😃

Thanks to CA & the moderators. I am hopeful that this Traditonal section will be the catalyst for those interested in traditon to search out their local TLM and see if it for them.
