I made my first confession!

Congratulations! I made my first confession two days ago. The feeling of complete forgiveness is wonderful. It is a great feeling to be worthy to receive the Eucharist (at least for a little while longer 😉 ).

That’s amazing! I went today for the first time in 4 years. I left the church and recently started going back. I was scared the priest would be mad that it’s been so long and I did a lot of terrible mistakes during that tine, but he was so beautiful and I felt so relieved.

I had worried so much about making my first confession, but I went ahead and did it and IT IS THE BEST FEELING EVER! My priest was so kind and encouraging and gave me great advice. I truly felt the love of God through him in his absolution.

For anyone who is overly anxious about reconciliation, don’t worry one bit. You’ve got this! And a lot of grace and mercy awaiting you, too.

Congratulations! Welcome home! I never had to make one before I was baptised this year and I’m nervous for when I do it for the first time.
 
One of the many great things about confession is that it’s always awesome for the contrite at heart.

Praise Jesus our Lord and God.
