I need a definition, please?

I like the definition of apologist. I’ve seen the term on this site for the first time & I’m totally unfamiliar with it. If I understand the meaning, then I think I can better use them here on this site as a resource.
 
My first word SHOULD be “I’d” (NOT I) - as in: I’d like the definition of an apologist. Sorry about that! 🙂
 
Actually, there’s no need to reply to this. I asked it before but I guess the administrator moved it but didn’t tell me - my question was just GONE! So I asked again, but found my original question. Administrator, you can remove this question if you want to (delete it).

You don’t get told when a thread is moved and you can easily find your own thread and posts by looking at them by clicking on your name.
