I Need a New Bible

Hello!

I am currently in the market for a new Catholic Bible. I want one that is not too huge but not super compact. I either want one that is like thinline or just plain compact with like a zipper. This Bible is one that I want to put all of my apologetics notes into so I can carry it around and use it whenever I need to defend the Faith. I am looking at a price range no more than $30 since this will get pretty used up and I already have a more comfortable reading Bible at home that is soft leather from St. Benedict Press.

I have one. I love it. The zipper does not get in the way.

However, they are definitely compact. I can actually fit mine in the pocket of some of my looser fitting pairs of pants. The font is readable to me, but it depends on your eyesight/age. :o. There’s no room for writing notes, though.

Does the Bible have a ribbon marker? How about chapter headings? Would Bible tabs like these fit in the Bible? shop.catholic.com/topic-tabs.html

I was going to suggest something a little bigger, and get a zipper pouch/cover to hold it and your notes, if you’d like. I have a lot of Bibles, but my “daily driver” is the Ignatius RSV-CE in paperback.

I just decided to not get the small compact version of the Bible. I am pretty sure I’m going to get the Ignatius RSV-CE hardcover so I can put the Catholic Answers Topic Tabs on them and use it for apologetics. It seems like this even though its a little bigger will get what I want accomplished.
