I need a new hairstyle...help

Well, I’m back from my haircut. I know, before you all say…uh, what did you have done? 😃 I actually had a lot done here. I have a thicker bang, since I’d like to grow it longer (yes you heard right:eek:) I needed to have her ‘take out’ that bottom layer, and make it appear blunter, than the forward look I had. I really like it. It will take about 8 more weeks to grow the final layer out, and then she can play more with it. Yeah, I’d like to have it longer, not sure what’s come over me, but I miss the diversity of long(er) hair. Then, once I spend a few months growing it to my shoulders…I’ll cut it again! Weeeeee! :rotfl: I know, you were probably all expecting something way different. This is nothing like that Kate hairdo… :rotfl:*

Never said you had been taken for a man. Shoot, if you’re game to shave your head bald, be my guest. I’m Just saying, it is has been my experience is to accidentally think a short haired woman for a man.

kage, I love your hairdo. I think it looks perfect on you, and I bet it’s so easy. Mine is easy at this length, can only imagine how easy yours is. The ONLY thing about short hair, is you have to keep going for the maintenance haircuts…you know? To keep it looking like you have it, how often do you go? *

B-E-A-Utiful. 👍: It’s about as long as mine, but don’t worry I have long hair for a guy. lol No mistaking you for a man. 👍 I dunno, I guess we have different definitions of short. But seriously great hair; I sure wish mine would stay like that instead of going to all waves.

In going for a new hairstyle, go with what looks good with the shape of your head/face. I think you’d look great with a style like Meg Ryan here:

Oh, that is adorable! Thx for posting. A little short. But, I think she looks great with shorter hair. Who is the actress on Law & Order? She has longer hair now, and it looks great, but she actually looked pretty darn good with short hair, too.

thank the stylist, hello, I just walked out of a salon! 😃 lol I wish I could style my hair this good…you know, the stylists are standing over you, just have a better angle. 🤷*
 
Yes, it also is different look. Looking closely you can tell when a person has their hair cut even if it’s not much. Less split ends and more groomed.

*What about dredlocks? Oh my gosh, they look pretty cool on some people, but I don’t think you can wash your hair for a while, right? 😊 I should have had her do dredlocks, my dh would have fallen off the couch when I walked in the door! :rotfl: *
 
Whenever a gal mentions cutting her hair, I almost always intervene to say “Don’t do it.” Long hair looks so so so nice, time consumption aside. Trust me, I’m a connoisseur of such things :yup:

They like it…my dh was excited to hear I’m growing it out :cool:, and was relieved to see I decided against chopping it like Kate’s (from Jon & Kate plus 8) :rotfl:*
