I need a new hairstyle...help

I go as often as every 5 weeks if I want it to stay super short, sometimes I let it grow longer (my profile pic was about 8/9 weeks post cut). This last time, I went from Thanksgiving til 2 weeks ago.

It's Mariska Hargitay, Jayne Mansfield's daughter. I think she looks incredibly gorgeous with long hair, and rather hardened and older when it's short. I noticed that a few months after she unfortunately re-pixied her hair last spring, a magazine (GH?) featured her on its cover with her still-long wavy tresses. Very understandable, from a sales POV. 
 Oh, WEG, I didn't want my wife to LOOK like the other women, but they made me start pining for HER formerly long hair. Honestly, I never thought it would happen, and I especially never dreamed that it'd be longer than ever. I guess it doesn't hurt to ask! ;) Rob
 
You know what? You are right about her…she did look a little hardened with the shorter hair. I liked it though.

My husband said last night…so you’re growing your hair out…why is it getting shorter? :ehh: Not sure why men can’t get this…you have to sometimes cut a shorter hairstyle blunt, so that it grows out evenly. Argh!

Back to Mariska, I had my hair like hers (long version with layers framing her face) for years up in PA…and then my stylist moved away :(, and…sniffle, sob…but that is a beautiful hair style, and easy to take care of. Just need the right stylist.

Sorry for the delay, WEG! Her hair is like the typical 70's style, parted in the middle, all one length. You can see her if you google "prolifepa". That photo is from Feb. 2002, and it hasn't been anywhere near that short since. At its longest, it was about 6" below her waist. Now, it's the shortest it has been since late 2004, at her waist. I know there is a picture of her on the internet *somewhere* with her super-long hair, but I can't seem to find it. Maybe it was deleted. :rolleyes: Rob
