So, i am hoping this is the correct place to post a Saint question, if not please move it to the correct area.

I know there are Saints for mothers wanting their children to come to God, but what about a Saint to bring my mother closer to God? I have of course been asking for intercession through Mary and St. Anne, but are there any others?
My 74 y/o mom is a OSAS but doesnt feel a need to live by Christ’s commands to forgive and love others. Yesterday she shocked me with a comment that she only needs to love people that are loving (which exclude her deceased mother, deceased brother who was mentally ill, a living sister and her estranged daughter - per previous conversations i have had with her). I need an army of Saints praying for her!

maybe Saint Monica? She prayed for years for her son Saint Augustine to return to Christ.

It sounds like your mother needs a softening of her heart, and that can only be done by the Holy Spirit. My suggestion would be asking the Holy Spirit to give her a new heart of flesh instead of one of stone. This Novena to the Holy Spirit might help

Also you can offer your Holy Communion for her, so that she may receive the graces from the body and blood of Jesus who gave his life for her so that she may be saved. You can also do little penances every day on her behalf. Something as simple as not eating that snack, or drinking water instead of pop, just little things done with love have great value. Trust in God who wills all to be saved and despite all outward appearances only God can judge the persons heart.

Saint Monica is a very good choice- just pray with her consistently and patiently. Also a devotion to the Divine Mercy is excellent for converting souls. A website to get started on that can be found here: thedivinemercy.org
And here: marian.org/divinemercy/

Praying the Divine Mercy chaplet daily or as often as you can will help your own spiritual life as well as those you love and care about, such as your mother. Hope this helps! God bless.

Holy Spirit Novena great idea and possible the strongest solution.
