I ordered my current Scapular about two years ago and I’ve been looking for a new one (in case I ever lose the one I already have). I cannot remember what website I ordered it from. Mine is in very good condition and has a very strong rope cord. I don’t like the ones that have string. I attached some pictures of my Scapular…I need one that has a strong and long lasting cord. I prefer one that has the promise written on it not one that has a cross on the front…

PS: I’m sorry for my typing. I wrote in a hurry.

Battle_Warrior, if you would like a Free Brown Our Lady of Mount Carmel Scapular might I suggest writing to the Scapular Guild – you can receive 20-25 Free Brown Our Lady of Mount Carmel Scapulars

  • I know I mentioned that they are Free but a donation always helps their cause and to defray the cost of shipping and handling

Do these brown scapulars come already blessed by a priest, or do you have to find a priest to bless them once you get them? Just curious. 🙂

I always purchase mine from the stall at the Church where the coffee morning is held and is always the cheapest, no postage either.

If you are already enrolled in the brown scapular by a priest then ones to replace the one you had when enrolled once they wear out do not require a further blessing. 🙂

Those are both interesting replies.

Do they seem to wear out frequently?

So you have to enroll in a program? What is that?

Thank you in advance for your replies. 🙂

Thank you for the websites! The second link is what I was looking for. That’s where I bought my scapular with the heavy cord. Thank you, I greatly appreciate it!
