This one might get me booted, but it may be needed.

I do not understand why Muslims refuse to answer straight forward questions about Islam. Is it cultural? Is it language? Is it a problem with our understanding of what it means to discuss?

I am beginning to think that you refuse to answer the quesitons because you do not really want to think. Can we have a thread that stays on topic without becomming an attack on the Bible? Or on Jesus’s honesty?

Why will some of you people not stay on one topic and discuss it?

Probably not…the booting that is…😃

It is neither. They believe themselves above the necessity to answer. You are an infidel, thus beneath them. You are supposed to accept everything they throw out at face value unquestioningly.

It is a form of imagined superiority bolstered by arrogance. It is a replay of history, ad nauseum.
Why will some of you people not stay on one topic and discuss it?
Could it be possible that they know it irritates others, so they do it. And possibly they are of the misinformed nature that they believe they can browbeat others into submission…as in if they tell you the same lie enough times you will begin to believe it?

I see no reason to “understand” Islam. I know enough to know I disagree with it, both on religious as well as political levels.

Yes, there is some of that on our end too. However, this is a Catholic site. If I act the way some Muslims do on an Islamic site, I would be shown the door.

Now, will you answer the quesitons?

Your sarcasm is duly noted, however your statement is false. I know that Christians for the most part…will directly answer straight forward questions. Yes there are a few hereabouts who are prone to being obtuse, but they are a small minority, and are not Catholics.

Ahhh, but the truth is that Catholics and many other Christians are given “free will” by God, therefore we are completely free to think. We do think, and we freely use that gift from God…daily.
Why do you think that every comment that is not in agreement with you or Islam or Mahammed is an attack? Are you afraid to think…?
Why will some of you people not stay on one topic and discuss it?
Could it be that discussion is impossible when you are responding to a one sided diatribe?

On what topic you want to discuss/know Islamic view?
Right now, this one.

Will you always answer the questions without derailing threads?

Can you discuss Islam without attacking the bible?

Can you discuss Islam without calling Jesus a lier?

What is your understanding of discuss?

Excuse me? You show me what questions have not been answered by my fellow Christians on this site.
We have answered them all!
Once again, your using taqqiya! Well done! 👍
Now go and answer the questions.

**I know you have been asking two questions again and again on the other thread and I replied them on that thread. Here I will copy-&-paste for your convenience.

Your questions were:**
If you are bold enough, tell us who Jesus’s father is and what traits did he inherit from his father.

Otherwise, have a nice day,
**I already answer your questions which are very simple.

Who Jesus’s father?
Let me Jesus himself answer it for you:
“I ascend to my Father and to your Father, to my God and your God.”.
So the Father of Jesus and our Father is same, as we all are children of God…good and bad.

But by ‘father’, if you mean biological father, then Jesus’ father is the one who was also the father of First UNIQUE Man of whole Universal History–Adam-- without him the “Mother of God” would not have came into being as we know she came.

What traits did he (Jesus) inherit from his father?

Same traits Adam inherited from his “father”.

See? Was it so difficult to figure it out by yourself?

…I do not understand why Muslims refuse to answer straight forward questions about Islam.
I started a thread on Ask about Islam .

If you really want to remove your misconception about / against Islam / Quran / the last Prophet (p) , you are welcome to ask questions there .

I hope , you won’t browse anti Islamic sites & flood that thread with posts written in nasty language.

Some Christians are doing this regularly . I came here with a good intention , now I am losing my interest / energy fast to talk to Christians . It’s sad for me ’ cause in my real life , I don’t get any chance to meet Christians .

So , pl. ask if you can do it without bashing Islam .

Hello and good morning,

I have asked twice now in threads about this “generalization” of Muslims not answering questions, and I still go no reply. Nonetheless, my questions were and are still not answered or replied to.

They generalize all Muslims in a bad way of not answering. This is wrong. I do not generalize all Christians this way. The belief I don’t either for I know that Protestant and Catholics are different beliefs and you gotta address them as so. Well, I try to distinguish them both as different~same concept of Jesus, different in belief sort of thing.

To label all Muslims is wrong. To label all Christians is wrong. Some are more educated ~on both sides and you cannot condemn one when someone else has an answer…this is only fair. I have asked plenty of times to those whom I think are wiser and I have gotten replies (thank you) and I also have asked many many questions to everyone and still got no reply. But to generalize and say that Muslims are infidels…well words of Jesus come right out of your mouths when he called all gentiles dogs…am I correct?

So what one should be is FAIR AND HONEST and not NASTY MOUTHED AND HATEFUL…I have seen so many nasty and hurtful things said about Mohammad sallaAllahu 'alayhi wa sellem (prayers and peace be upon him) and you never NEVER hear us saying one thing about Jesus (on him peace). He is more beloved to us than you realize.

So you should not be so quick to judge Muslims and Muslims should not be so quick to judge Christians…but those who really bash need a good bashing themselves.

i’ve been asking the same for years, regarding many, not all Islamic teachings… be sure you will get straight answers about rituals and what to do and what not to do but when it comes to theology, it’s the horror…
the best answer i get is " you won’t understand" and at the end it turns out the one who uttered this sentence is the one who doesn’t understand nor is able to answer.

I spent six years moderating VCI forums and i have modded in both algeria.com and morocco.com. Never have the Muslims given straight-forward answers. I tried to be fair and even reprimanded fellow Christians on the forums if they went too far. Still, it was never appreciated by the Muslims members of the forums. Instead, they wanted me off the forums because i was Catholic and i wasn’t shy about it. They wanted Muslims to moderate both forums and even had the FBI involved at one time when Muslim hackers invaded morocco.com and spammed it with pornography and made terrorist threats. No, i’m not exxagerating. This really happened.

Its common tactic of Muslims - its called “taqiyya”. They always do a “round-about” whenever they are asked tough questions concerning human rights and religious freedom. When they cannot answer or are forced to a corner, it usually results in ugly confrontations. Its what sore losers do.

I do not understand why Pro-Lifers refuse to answer straight forward questions about the Pro-Life Movement. Is it cultural? Is it language? Is it a problem with our understanding of what it means to discuss?

I am beginning to think that you refuse to answer the quesitons because you do not really want to think. Can we have a thread that stays on topic without becomming an attack on Roe v. Wade? Or on the abortionists?

Why will some of you people not stay on one topic and discuss it?

I do not understand why Creationists refuse to answer straight forward questions about Creationism. Is it cultural? Is it language? Is it a problem with our understanding of what it means to discuss?

I am beginning to think that you refuse to answer the quesitons because you do not really want to think. Can we have a thread that stays on topic without becomming an attack on the Origin of Species? Or on Charles Darwin?

Why will some of you people not stay on one topic and discuss it?

Hello,

I am sure there are plenty of hateful Muslims out there as well as with any member of any religion…but you don’t condemn all. That’s the key. You want a nice forum to go to…go to Path2Peace…path-to-peace.com/community/cmps_index.php

You will find Muslims there and if you are interested in learning about Islam, you can ask sincere questions and they will answer. They are not hateful but they are genuine as they come! Allah ybarak, so if it is truth you want, go ahead and ask them straight forward.

You also find in many forums hatefulness about certain subjects. YOu must understand that when people do not understand their religion they way it is meant to be understood, you will not always get the correct outcome/conclusion to your answer. This is only common sense.

**So ralph is satisfied now and there is nothing more remaining. It should be remembered that actions depend on intentions. If the intention is to spread mischief then ther eis no need to ask any question. Some clever answer/ rebuttal will be returned by the Muslims. Otherwise you are all free and welcome to ask any sensible questions. There is no bar. There should be one question at a time and the system should not become a chain of replies and denials.

Suitable reply will be given. Then you have to take it or leave it.

Fair enough.

One question, one direct answer for all?
