I need help.

Please Lord let him come back to me, I know we can make it work again if we are given another chance and I know it would be good for both of us. Please let him see that and allow us one more chance.
Please Lord let people who are supposed to be my friend but are interfearing and becoming closer to my ex without trying to keep in touch with me see that they are making things worse and let them see that they need to keep out of it. Please stop him from liking any other girl, especially one who used to be my friend.
Please Lord stop this having a negative effect on my school work and help me to be motiviated to complete it. At the moment I really feel like giving up.

Wednesday will be exactly one year since my Nana passed away. The 2nd should be her birthday, the 4th will be mine and the 5th is one year since her funeral.
My ex was my rock during this time and gave me the best birthday present I’ve ever had, a book he made for us about all the fun we’ve had together and will have in the future.
I don’t understand where his feelings went to, I’m sure he still has feelings for me somewhere he is just lost and confused. If he didn’t then surely he’d be able to talk to me and wouldn’t be drinking and acting weird and then accusing me of acting weird.
The thought of how good he was this time last year (and every day until we split) makes me even more sad that I am going to be alone at such a hard time and alone on my birthday (due to university I am away from home for both and can only get home the weekend after my birthday).
Please Lord help me to be strong and help take the pain away. Please help him to rememeber all the good times we had and help him with his confusion allowing him to see how right we are for each other.

Once again thank you for your prayers.

I have had a real tough day and prayed to God and Mary and my Nana who is (hopefully!) in heaven. I asked for some kind of sign or something for me to know things would be alright.

Several hours later I was on fb chat and my old psychology lecturer was online (she was a student lecturer when she taught me and we were a “mature students” class so we all became friends) anyways we hadn’t spoke for at least 2 years and I felt like maybe she could give me some understanding on depression etc seeing as she teaches psych and had a feeling she’d be able to help. she asked me how I was doing etc and I explained about our break up.
She told me she went through something almost identical as my ex, breaking up with her partner due to being depressed and stressed out etc she one day snapped saying she wasnt in love any more even though she was she was just confused and trying to protect her partner etc. She said it took her 5 months to sort things out but they are now engaged!
She is the second person who I hadn’t spoke to for a while and randomly spoke to again who has went through something similar and ended up engaged.
Do you think this could be the sign? I do!
Please Lord let him see that I love him and we are meant to be. Please help me to stay strong and positive and to be patient.

My dear young woman, Do you really want to sacrifice your whole life to this man? because that is what real love in marriage is all about, anything else are emotions or Lust which soon evaporate within a short time.Will he make a good husband and a responsible father to his children? God has given You timeout make good use of it and stop feeling sorry for yourself Irish Tom

I know what real love and marriage is about. Just because I am young doesn’t mean I don’t understand that and it is what I want. I know you will think because he has ended it its an obvious sign we’re not supposed to be together but love is never easy and just because things get hard or complicated doesn’t mean I should give up. He is unwell which I believe is why he has got confused and is pushing me away. I have prayed for God to give me a sign so I know to either continue keeping hope or to try and move on and I believe He has told me to continue. It isn’t going to be easy and it probably won’t happen over night but nothing in life that is worth while is easy, or it rarely is. I love him with all my heart and I know that this will never change.

I have been doing really well the past couple of days thanks to prayers and trusting in the Lord. Tonight has been hard though. I really wish I could have the chance to say what is needed to be said. I wish I could tell him how I truely feel without pushing him away and spoiling a chance for friendship if that as is wanted.
I am scared of missing my chance by not telling him how I feel. Scared incase he slips by and doesn’t reconsider things because I was too scared to tell him.
I’m also nervous about him growing closer to any other women and nervous incase he starts to see any of them in the way he used to see me.
However I keep reminding myself to be strong and to be patient because I asked for a sign from God and I believe He gave me one so I just need to put my trust in Him that everything will work out for the best.
Thank you all again for praying for me, I’m really honoured.

I am going through the same thing- losing a 3 year relationship very suddenly. I am sorry for your grief and have every hope that you will find peace of mind, either way. Words cannot heal when something is lost, possibly forever, but I ask God to assist you in being restored.
