I need Help

I honestly dont know how to use this or wether I am posting this in the right place!
I am armenian Orthodox however i dont have s spesific church i go to, by that i mean i go to catholics churches , Orthodox , anything.
I am getting married next year and i need a priest that can marry us outside the church!! Some have told me that priests have to marry us in God’s house which is the church but that didnt make sense to me! God wouldnt turn his back to anyone! God said I am always there when you pray! i am always standing between two people! i just dont want to have any EFFICIENT!! i want some one spritual regardless the faith. please some suggestion if you can i live in san jose califoria .
 
A priest will not marry you outside of the Catholic Church, or Orthodox Church. Being married outside of the Church is something that people are denied Communion over. I would really suggest that you be married by a priest in an orthodox church since this is your background. I am from Santa Clara so I am not exactly sure if there is an Armenian Orthodox church in the area but if there is, I would suggest you attend there regularly. You may have to confess though, because the Orthodox church does not recognize the Catholic liturgy as valid (to the best of my knowledge) let alone a Protestant Church.

To be married by a Catholic priest, you would need to come into full communion with the Catholic Church, and only attend a Catholic Church.

Why do you believe you need a priest to marry you? I am not disagreeing but would like to understand your thoughts.
 
Why do you want to get married outside of a Church?

Yes, God is merciful and He never turns His back on us, but we turn our backs on Him all the time (that’s what sin is). God established the Church and he gave the Apostles and their successors the authority to bind and loose. He entrusted them with the authority to make those rules. They are not arbitrary but are in place for good reasons. We owe it to ourselves to educate ourselves as to why these rules are in place. We should be very cautious about presuming we know better. We should ask ourselves why we want to circumvent those rules.

If you have questions on what you should do as an Armenian Orthodox, I would recommend contacting an Armenian Orthodox priest and asking him what your options are. You might find the pertinent contact information on the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church website. California falls in that territory.

Because i want a priest’s blessing! i dont want a reqular person. and why I am getting married outside the church because that’s where my venue is at.
