I need help

Please pray for me, I have had depression on and off due to events in my life that got on top of me.

I have had so many negative things and unanswered prayers and I kind of lost my faith investigated the Mormon church and nearly had a baptism date set for August. However I had this incling to go to a confession and Mass today of which I did and hopefully my faith is now back on track.

I ask people to pray for me that this week I can have some blessings and favour come my way in my life so me and my family are dragged out of this terrible situation finally.
 
Thanks be to God that you came back to the sacraments!

May our Lord Jesus Christ heal you of your depression and the things that hurt you.

May our Blessed Mother Mary intercede for you.
 
**I will go dressed and armed with the weapons of Saint George so that my enemies, having feet will not reach me; having hands will not trap me; having eyes will not see me, neither with thought can they cause me harm.

Firearms will not reach my body; knives and swords will break without touching my body, ropes and chains will break without tying my body.

Jesus Christ protects and defends me with the power of His Holy and Divine Grace.

The Virgin of Nazareth covers me with her sacred and divine mantle, protecting me in all my dolors and afflictions.

And God, with His Divine Mercy and great power, is my defender against the evils and persecutions of my enemies.

Glorious Saint George, in the name of God, extend to me your shield and your powerful arms, defending me with your strength and your greatness; and may my enemies underneath your feet become humble and submissive to you.

So Be it in the Power of God, of Jesus Christ and of the Divine Holy Spirit. Amen

My prayers will be concentrated on your healingand finding comfort in our Lord

You state your religion is Cathoic and yet you mention you’ve “nearly had a Mormon baptism” which is confusing to me. IF you have ever been baptized in any church in the correct formula or in the Catholic Church, you need to be aware that you do not require nor need any other baptism. Period.
I don’t understand how you can feel a need to go to confession and also want to be “re-baptized” (unnecessarily) in any other Church? Can you explain further what yourline of thinking is?
Please speak to a priest about exactly what you said here.

Also, is it possible that what you see as negative is actually meant for your learning and growing and getting beyond where you are to the next step God wants you to be at?
Is it at all possible your struggling is due to growing pains? That Gods plan might be to take you beyond where you are now to a more enlightened state of being if only you allow it and say yes Lord?
 
I am glad you stayed with Our Lord in His Catholic Church. The LDS (Mormons) do not recognize Jesus as Lord.

Changing Churches will not heal your depression. Ask Jesus to help you.
Speak to a priest. If needed, he will help you find a Christian counselor or he will counsel you
himself.

Praying for you. Keep in touch with us.
