God has equipped you to fight sickness and disease. You don’t have to put up with it, unless you choose to be in poor health. You can get in the Word of God and make things happen, even when the doctor says healing is impossible. God promised you healing. He always keeps His Word! Your healing may be instant or it may be some time before you can see and feel the total physical effects of God’s healing power. So don’t let doubts arise just because you don’t see immediate results and don’t let lingering symptoms discourage you. After all, when you go to the doctor, do you immediately begin to feel better? No, the medication he gives you usually takes some time before it begins to work. In the same way, the effects of divine healing may not appear instantly either. It may take time for you to feel completely healed. So, what do you do in the meantime? Exercise your faith! After all, faith by itself, if not accompanied by action, is dead (James 2:17). There are some practical steps you can take to put your faith into action.

Blessed34, I’m not here to listen to Pentecostal teaching about sickness. I mean no offense by saying that. I posted this prayer request so people would pray for me.
Anyway, thanks to everyone who has prayed. I appreciate your prayers.
One thing that is bothering me is that the friend I offended refused to forgive me. He was online this morning and I send him a message asking if he got my text with my apologizing to him and I reiterated that I was sorry. He then started what would otherwise be screaming were it not online. I knew that he wasn’t going to forgive me and so I just unfriended him. Him and I have times like this where he’ll refuse to forgive me. I think finally this time I am just going to quit being friends for good because I cannot take him yelling and screaming at me. I completely forgive him for his refusal to forgive me but at the same time I still feel bad for what I said to him.

Hi everyone. I am depressed over the news about the Supreme Court striking down the Defense of Marriage Act. I could really use your prayers. I can feel my mood plummeting.
In addition to this, my left arm is in pain and it is going to hinder and prevent any house work I can do until the pain stops. This type of pain will only get worse if I lift things with it and lifting is going to be required for cleaning my apartment. The reason is because I’ll have to take the trash out. Some of these trash bags are kind of heavy.

Hey everyone. I wanted to post this in this thread rather than as a separate thread because I do not want to take up space which could be used for more important things.
Anyway, some man with a foreign accent called. He said something about knowing my IP address and taking over my computer. He said I think that my computer was hacked and that they’d fix it for free. Something similar happened to my sister a while back and I think she might have endangered her computer’s security by doing this. Anyway, I told them that I did not trust their organization and hung up. I am scared now, though, that they may try to hack my computer. I know how to keep my computer safe but sometimes it is not possible to prevent all hackers from breaking into your computer.
This has me really concerned about my computer’s security. Please pray that my computer is not hacked and that it remains secure. Meanwhile I am going to take all necessary precautions like scanning for viruses and updating with Windows Update if needed and such. Thank you all so much.

Thank you everyone for your prayers. Earlier today my legs were hurting pretty badly and I ended up having to take my pain medicine which is a prescription in addition to some acetaminophen to boost its power because the pain medicine alone did not get rid of the pain. The pain is now gone thankfully.
Well, I now seem to have another lesion on my breast. When my doctor saw the first one she told me that it was Cellulitis but she was also concerned about the possibility of breast cancer. It seems that just as soon as one lesion goes away, another one pops up very close to the first one or the last one. I am getting really worried about this. I don’t know what to do. I am thinking about getting a referral to a breast specialist.
The only other thing that is bothering me right now is that I have a stomach ache but I think that is because I am hungry. I am boiling some water to make some cup noodles which should satisfy my hunger for a little while but probably not for very long because they’re rather small. I am probably going to fix some rice later and eat it too. I also have lentils I can fix if I choose to do so.
