I need prayers because my health is declining

Hey everyone. Thank you for the prayers. I greatly appreciate them.

My Asthma is doing better although I am still somewhat short of breath. However, my ears are aching this morning and my throat is sore too. I wasn’t able to sleep the whole night like I wanted to.

In addition, my middle finger is still causing me pain when I type.

Anyway, I have an appointment with my primary care doctor this morning at 9:45 EST so I will talk to her about my cold and my finger while I am there. I’ll let you know what she says.

Hey everyone. I didn’t go to the doctor this morning. I cancelled it because I was tired and wanted to go to bed. I will go to the Quick Care Clinic probably tomorrow but they are closed now I think.

Anyway, I am feeling worse. My ears are hurting more and my sore throat is a little worse. I’m also congested and my asthma is still acting up some.

I’d appreciate your prayers. Thanks for the ones you have already prayed.

Hey everyone. Thanks for your prayers. I appreciate them.

That said, I could use more prayers. I am depressed and worried that I might be in a state of mortal sin because I have been smoking too many cigarettes lately. 😦 I am hoping and praying that I am not in a state of mortal sin. I have been trying really hard not to sin but its so difficult. I prayed and asked God if I am in a state of mortal sin or not and He told me no but I don’t know for sure if it was God telling me that or if it was Satan trying to deceive me. I could use some (name removed by moderator)ut or advice as to whether or not I might be in a state of mortal sin. I’d definitely appreciate it.

Also, I am still a little bit sick. I don’t think I am really sick though. I did ask Fr. Ray for the Anointing of the Sick but he hasn’t returned my message yet. The reason why I asked is because my Asthma has been acting up and I am afraid this infection will get worse.

Anyway, please keep me in your prayers and I would greatly appreciate (name removed by moderator)ut as to whether or not I am in a state of mortal sin.
 
Father of all Mercy, strength of the weak, look upon your daughter and pardon her sins, give her peace and restore her health according to Your will. I ask in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, One God, now and forever.
 
Holly, you should stop smoking, but I really have no idea if that is a mortal sin for you or not. I think it depends on your circumstances. It would be best to talk to Fr Ray about that since he is your spiritual director and knows your situation best.

Hey everyone. Thank you very much for your prayers. I appreciate them! 👍

That said, my headache did finally go away. I wasn’t feeling well when I last posted on this thread and so I went to bed shortly thereafter. I ended up sleeping till about 10:30 PM. I am glad that I got that sleep because I did not sleep hardly at all last night. Shortly after I woke up though I realized I had not taken my evening medicine or my night medicine. I then started to have a sinus headache and a fibro flare. The sinus headache is now mostly gone but the fibro flare is still with me. In addition, I have a runny nose which I am sure is because of the sinus infection. I talked to my boyfriend’s mom and she told me to go to the doctor so I promised her I’d go to the doctor tomorrow. I am going to go to the Quick Care Clinic tomorrow. I’ll let you all know what they say. Please continue praying for me.

Hello everyone. Thank you for the prayers.

I would love to have a miracle cure for all of my medical conditions. My medical conditions can be very troublesome to me and I hate having them all. I love the fact that I can offer them up but I would rather be miraculously healed. I want to be miraculously healed so that I can become a Carmelite or Poor Clare nun. I have a great desire to be a nun.

That said, I am thinking about beginning a novena but I am wondering who I should make the novena to. What suggestions would you have? If I begin a novena, will you pray it with me?
