I need prayers because my health is declining

That said, my breathing is still not doing too well. I am probably going to take a breathing treatment here in a little bit.

Anyway, I wanted to let you all know that I got my flu shot today. My doctor tells me I need to get one every year and a pneumonia shot every five years or however long its supposed to be because my asthma puts me at a much higher risk of complications from such infections than people without such a condition.
 
Hi everyone. I wanted to mention that so far I have managed not to smoke at all with the help of the nicotine patch. Please pray that I’d be able to quit for good.

I also wanted to mention that I managed to open up that scratch on my nose that my cat gave me when I was cleaning her ears a couple of weeks ago. I was showering and was cleaning my face when it happened. I thought it was completely healed but apparently it was not. It bled some. I am now keeping triple antibiotic ointment on it a few times a day. Please pray for healing.

Also, my breathing is doing alright but its not as good as I’d like it to be. Please pray that I would be healed of this bronchitis or respiratory infection or whatever it is as soon as possible. I am going to call the doctor in the morning to get in and see her.

And last but not least, I am having an increased amount of pain tonight. I think its probably because of the very cold weather we are having. Its only 10 degrees outside right now. I would appreciate prayers for relief of my pain.

Anyway, I want to apologize if I complain about my health too much. I feel like I do it too much but then again I also want to keep all of you informed so you can keep my health in your prayers. My health is only fair for the most part. Right now it is somewhat poor. I greatly appreciate your prayers for my health. It means a lot to me! Thank you! 👍

Hello everyone. Thank you for your prayers for me. I really appreciate them.

That said, I was able to get an appointment with my doctor this morning at 10 AM. I thought I wasn’t going to be able to get in until Monday but I called them back and apparently they had a cancellation or something and so they was able to get me in at 10 AM this morning. I had prayed to God and our Blessed Mother for an earlier appointment and they answered my prayers! Praise be to God!

Anyway, I will let you know what my doctor says when I get home. 🙂
 
Hey everyone! Thank you for the prayers! So far I have not had hardly any nicotine/cigarette cravings since putting the nicotine patch on yesterday at 5 PM. I am so thankful for that.

That said, I did make it to the doctor today and she said I do not have bronchitis but only a flareup of my asthma. Because my asthma has been so bad this year, she started me on Atrovent, which is a long-acting medicine for my nebulizer which helps my breathing and I think it helps prevent asthma attacks. She also put me on Singulair which is a pill to prevent asthma attacks but for some reason the pharmacy needed a prior authorization for the Singulair. Thankfully I got the Atrovent just fine. I should be able to pick up the Singulair in a day or two.

That said, the Atrovent combined with my Albuterol (which is one way I can take it… I can mix them according to my doctor) is really helping my breathing so far. Also, I am staying on the Advair as well.

So anyway, I think that once I start taking the Singulair too, my breathing will be much better.

She did order a pulmonary (breathing) function test for me to have done sometime soon. I had to have a referral for it. The lady in charge of referrals will give me a call sometime soon.

In addition, I am having a whole range of blood work done to check for diabetes, vitamin and iron deficiencies (I’m already anemic), cholesterol, heart disease risk, and other things. I am going to go to the lab tomorrow or the next day to have the blood drawn. I have to fast for several hours before the test.

That said, I went and got my blood work done this morning. I should hear from the nurse about my results in a couple of days.

That said, my health is doing really well today. I feel like a headache might be coming on but I’ll be fine. Thank you all for your prayers and please continue to pray for me. 🙂

Hey everyone. I am having a bad asthma attack and I’m taking a breathing treatment with my albuterol right now. I would greatly appreciate prayers.

I got out and was moving around a lot and I think exerting myself too much is what caused it. 😦
 
Hello everyone. I wanted you all to know that my breathing is doing much better than it was earlier today. Thanks for any prayers that were said! 🙂

That said, I am having a small amount of pain at this time in my hand which I would appreciate prayers for. The main reason why I mention it is because it interferes slightly with me using the computer. Nevertheless, it is definitely not severe which I am very grateful for. 🙂

Other than that, everything is going well with me. I would appreciate continued prayers for my breathing though because I fear I might have more asthma attacks.

Hey everyone. I really really need prayers. My breathing is very very bad tonight and I am going to go the Emergency Room here in a little bit. I have had to take two breathing treatments within 3.5 hours because my breathing is so bad. A friend and neighbor needs to go too so I am taking them as well. I would greatly appreciate prayers.

I just took my second breathing treatment and while my breathing is still not good, its okay enough for me to make it to the hospital. If I can’t make it, my friend, Maria, will drive the rest of the way. Maria is James’ girlfriend. He is the one who needs to go. His breathing is also really bad and he’s got a severe toothache. Please pray for him as well.

Hi everyone. Thank you very much for your prayers. I ended up having to take an ambulance to the hospital because my breathing was too bad for me to drive and I didn’t have a ride there.

Anyway, I am home now. They had me on oxygen the entire time. I now have two prescriptions: One for a steroid, Prednisone and the other for an antibiotic, Cipro. I have never been on Cipro before so please pray that I don’t have an allergic reaction to it because I am allergic to Adoxa (Doxycycline) which the doctor in the emergency room first tried to put me on it. I couldn’t remember all of my allergies when they first got me there which is why he didn’t know. I did add it to my allergies after he tried to initially prescribe it for me.

So anyway, I am taking my Atrovent and Albuterol right now.The treatment is almost over. I am going to be taking my Albuterol every 4-6 hours since I have Bronchitis again. Atrovent is one of my regularly scheduled breathing medicines.

Also, I have a Pulmonary Function (Breathing Test) coming up on Thursday but I think I’ll have to reschedule it since I am sick. Please pray that it goes well when I finally get it done.

And last but not least, I have been having some additional pain lately. I’d appreciate prayers for that as well.

Hi everyone. I am having severe leg pain and my pain medicine plus acetaminophen is not working. I also took ibuprofen but I don’t know if it will work or not either.

That said, my breathing is doing well at this time. 🙂

That said, I am still having pain but its getting better. My breathing is alright at this time but I am going to take another breathing treatment with albuterol soon since its been 4 hours. I was told to do this in the past by a doctor to keep me breathing well and it really helps a lot.
