I need some help, and some prayers

I’m 23 years old, and for two years now have suspected that I have cancer. Not being able to keep up with medical bills, as I have no job, I stay at home and take care of my mother, I have not been able to go to the Dr. Now though, that I do have medical coverage, I am afraid to go… I am asking that maybe you, your family, anyone, could pray for me. I don’t know where else to turn, and I’ve seen the healing powers of prayer. When my mother was younger she had a tumor in her left side of her face. She told the doctors she believed she would be healed because God would help her, and when she went to church that sunday, they all prayed. The next time she went to the Doctors, they took X Rays, and it was gone completely. Nothing left. Not a sign of there ever being a tumor.

I believe in the power of prayer, and have been praying so hard for the past few months. I have told God, I would do anything, and am more than willing to show it, it’s just I have gone astray… so many bad things have happened, and I just need a little faith. So please, pray for me. A few kind words and heartfilled prayers is all I ask. thank you.

Dear Lord please grant jehnifer does not have cancer or anything seriously wrong with her.
Please grant her the strength and courage in confidence of Your love for her that she will face her inner fears and go to her doctor.I ask You to place Your healing hand upon this situation and grant jehnifer renewed strength of faith.Thankyou Lord for hearing my prayers Amen

Thank you both so very much. It means a lot to me that you would take the time to pray for me, when I sometimes feel I don’t deserve it. I have tried to live my life the best I can, and I admit that I have made some really bad choices. I wish to get back on my fight, and hope that I can find people like yourselves to help me stay on the right path.
 
Whatever choices you have made that you are unhappy about, remember that you are caring for your mother. That is a choice for practical kindness that means a great deal before God. If you have a bible and can read Matthew 25, verses 31-46, you will be able to see how very important that is to Jesus, and what it means for your eternal soul. [Part of this passage is the question that people like you will ask of Jesus when you die, “Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You; or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and make You welcome; naked and clothe You; sick or in prison and go to see You?” Jesus replies “I tell you solemnly, in so far as you did this to one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did it to me.” [Matthew 25:37-40]

The bible also tells us that our love “is not to be mere words or mere talk, but something real and active; only by this can we be certain that we are children of the truth.” [John 3:18-19] And this is what you are doing in caring for your mother

Holy Spirit of God, I need wisdom, discernment and unconditional love. Will You share Yours with me? Help me to persevere in these necessary virtues, even where there is wounding within me greater than anyone is aware. Help me to carry my daily responsibilities with faith and hope.

I need healing for injuries and scars that prevent me from fully becoming the person I am created to be. Come into my mind and soul, and help me through the rest of my life.

I need You, Holy Spirit. Please access the gifts and beauty of my unique creation in God’s image. For others’ benefit and for Your glory, give me a deep appreciation and use of the goodness, loveliness joy and blessing of this creation that You mean me to be.

I will definitely keep you in my prayers. Remember, He doesn’t give us more than we can handle. A little faith is better than no faith…hold on to that and I am sure your faith will continue to grow and help guide you through these tough times. He is there and listening, but things are done in His way and His time.

…Help each of us, Lord, to feel good about ourselves.

Teach us to recognize and appreciate our assets and talents and to avoid letting ourselves become discouraged by our weaknesses and limitations.

Let us realize that – because we are human – we are not perfect, we all have faults, we all make mistakes, we all do foolish and embarrassing things.

Let us learn how to forgive ourselves for our mistakes and our weaknesses.

Let us learn to spend more time doing the best we can with what we have and less time worrying about what we can’t do or don’t have.

When we find it hard to have faith in ourselves, Lord, let us know and feel that you have faith in us.

We ask you, Lord, not only to love us when we find it difficult to love ourselves, but teach us how to view and value ourselves as the unique, precious individuals we are.

Let us learn to feel secure in your sight.
