I need some prayers

Hello all,

I am in need of some prayers. I don’t like to give too many details, even in an anonymous internet forum, but I am going through a divorce. My “ex” left and refused all counseling, and I’ve since discovered the reason for his leaving (which is not what he initially said). He was not just content to leave, however. He has been torturing me for some time (let’s just say, there is no justice in the legal system). It has been particularly bad over the past couple of months, although I’ve been close to a nervous breakdown for most of 2009. I feel like I am under attack, and am unable to focus at work, which scares me, since I can’t afford to lose my job.

Please pray that this can come to an end so I can move on, and that I am able to get my focus back.

O Christ Jesus,
when all is darkness
and we feel our weakness and helplessness,
give us the sense of Your presence,
Your love, and Your strength.
Help us to have perfect trust
in Your protecting love
and strengthening power,
so that nothing may frighten or worry us,

Saint Anne, help Sasha’s and her husband to live up to God’s own ideal for them Help them to love each other, live together every day of their married life in health and sickness, and share, with each other the joys and sorrows of life. Help them to live up to God’s own description of the closest relationship which is theirs: “A Man leaves his father and mother and joins himself to his wife, and they become one body” (Gen. 2:24).

As Christ loves his Church which sprang from his love for mankind, and as the Church loves him in return brining all men to him, so a husband and wife should love each other and spend themselves for each other’s happiness and for the happiness of their children.

Saint Anne, teach all married couples what their special vocation should be: for each other, for their children, as witnesses to their faith in Christ, and apostles of his kingdom.

Jesus please help Sasha to find refuge and peace so that she can reclaim her life with You at her side. Help her to focus, and to retain her job, moving towards a happy future. Please ensure wise support and guidance for her.

Dear Jesus in Heaven, we ask you to stretch out your arms in protection for our friend Sasha who is in most need of your divine intervention. Protect her from all harm and ease her every anxiety. We ask this of you Lord God, forever and ever. Amen.
 
Dear Sasha: Been there and done that. I’ve been through what you are going through and I can fully understand and share your experience. All I can offer to you is to tell God that this is his problem that it is too big for you so you turn it over to Him (and trust and believe in Him). It works. There have been a couple of times in my life when I thought that I could not cope but I relinquished all authority and let God control my life. You would be surprised how relieved you feel when you realize that you are not in this alone.

God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost love you and will bring you though this, you will see.
